The Brownstone Cafe has a nice breakfast offering. The migas are especially good, but everything our family party of nine tried was good. The atmosphere is California mission style eclectic in a historic downtown Fullerton building. Prices are reasonable for the area ... $10-13 per person.

I have been at this café at least a couple of times--maybe even more--and most of the times the service is slow. This does not necessarily mean it is a bad restaurant, it's just that if you go at lunchtime and need to get back to work, it may be an issue. Soups, salads and sandwiches is what most folks... You can read other people'e reviews abut the service and food. But if it is a really hot day, then I would recommend you not go to Brownstone for lunch. No a/c inside - just some ceiling fans - while outside in the patio, no real circulation of any air. We made the mistake of coming here when it was... More

Tucked away inside the Villa del Sol complex in downtown Fullerton, the Brownstone Café offers a relaxing environment in which to enjoy a tasty lunch or breakfast. There is both seating indoors and on their outdoor patio. They offer a nice selection of salads and sandwiches. They are also known for their breakfasts, which are served all day. My wife... More

I have been to the brownstone cafe many times, especially for their breakfast which is always excellent. The quality of the omelets is very good and likewise for the french toast. I highly recommend them. It is not easy to find a good breakfast with this kind of quality.

Food was very good. Portions are a little small. Wait for food was long. Fast for refills of coffee. Overall Average for breakfast.

What a delightful find! Tucked away in a classic old-world Southern California courtyard, the Brownstone Café offers a refreshing menu with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is very friendly and attentive. A nice place for a quiet meal or meeting friends.

I've been here many times for office lunches and special events. Our office staff loves coming here because it's so different, the food is delicious and fresh, and the service is friendly. The setting is also unusual... It's an historic, early California hotel that opens up on to a center plaza. On good-weather days, which in Fullerton is 90% of the... More

Love this place for lunch especially when the weather is nice and you can sit in the courtyard. They have great wraps and salads. If its cold outside, make sure to try the tomato basil soup and grilled cheese, yummy. They hosted my 40th birthday with a mardi gras theme - the food and drinks were great. Service can be... More
