Very rustic looking place, which we liked and we were fully expecting a basic meal! Instead we got fine dining, brilliant service and a romantic atmosphere!

We had an amazing dinner here while we were on our honeymoon. We walked in with a bottle of wine and the host asked if we were celebrating something special. We told him we were on our honeymoon and he instantly waived the $15 corking fee. They had us at hello! Everything we tried was delicious. We started with a... More

Chalet-style interior and really good food. Combine with a bottle of California red wine and it's a setting for a perfect meal after a long day in Yosemite. Steak was cooked to perfection as well.

After a unsatisfactory lunch at Teneya lodge, we opted to try this resturant for dinner. It was a great choice, the atmosphere quaint. Our server, Ron was terrific and the food well prepared. Nice selection of wines. Husband and I each had a glass which wS well priced. The beef I ordered was delucious and my husband ordered squash pasta... More

This was our second visit in the past year and believe that they have gotten a new chef. Our previous dinner was wonderful. We enjoyed everything about it. This time the menu had changed and the food was presented oddly. We both had the caesar salad followed by the roasted chicken. The salad required a sharp knife to cut up... More

The food was incredible. One of the best steaks we had ever tasted. The wine selection was very good. The squash pasta was wonderful. Good service too!

We stumbled upon Narrow Gauge Inn and the Hall & Buffalo Bar through Trip Advisor on our last night in Yosemite. The rustic, historic beauty of the restaurant took my breath away. We started with a delicious crab cake appetizer with a slightly spicy and creamy sauce. My husband had a nicely presented Chilean Sea Bass, and I had the... More

Great food and service. They also offer picnic lunch boxes for those going into the park. Generous portions and freshly prepared food for a reasonable price.

Our dinner was exquisite. The menu is very eclectic and excellent. Fine dining in a very rustic atmosphere. The restaurant has 3 fireplaces and the view is like something out of a magazine. The staff was kind and very professional. I will definitely be returning and bringing friends.

Excellent service, tasty food, nice location. The duck appetizer and the chicken main entrée were excellent, well-prepared.
