EVERY sandwich in this place is delicious! I have never eaten such delicious bread in my life. It doesnt get soggy with a meatball sandwich. Handmade pasta is a bit pricey though......

While visiting the Del Mar area my wife wanted pasta for dinner, but I wanted it to go. So, Google found us this. It is located in a strip mall. The lady that helped us was really nice and helpful with our choices. We both chose one of the housemade pastas. My wife the rigatoni with mushroom sauce and me... More

Found an article in a tourist magazine about Encinitas. The picture on the cover enticed me so we went on a little treasure hunt. We found Rosana's tucked into a little shopping mall just like the reviews said. When I entered the little joint with just a very few tables, I said to the hostess (there wasn't anyone else in... While the owner is a bit testy and sometimes just not nice, if you approach her with a smile and just go with the flow she is really ok. The pasta's are all freshly made and seriously italian. The sauces, meatballs and food is incredibly well made, by her husband and it is worth the small tables and nutty rush... More

The lasagna here is out of this world. We get it to go and take it home to finish cooking in the oven....it is unbelievable fluffy and delicious. There is no reason to make your own - we serve it when we have company and our friends love it. I am a very good cook and I cannot come close... More

This family owned shop and restaurant is authentic Italian food with the best pasta and Italian sauces in San Diego! Be prepared to walk into small slice of Italy including some Italian attitude! "Conosco i miei polli" which means - I know my stuff!

This small family operated shop in a strip mall will surprise and please you. One bite tells you the flavors are the real thing and the portions are generous. This is premium quality casual dining. And real Italian!

This is one of our favorite places to eat in San Diego. It's a tiny little shop in a strip mall with some indoor and outdoor seating. We come here whenever we're in town - it is always absolutely delicious, and everyone there is friendly and very helpful. A lot of locals come in to carry food out; we eat... More

The food is delicious. Great place for lunch. It is hidden in a corner of a mall. Fresh pasta with sauce of choice. Sandwiches are very good. Enjoy.

Ok so we can't cook at home because our kitchen is in the middle of a complete renovation. And, yes, we just returned from 2 weeks in Tuscany Italy and so are big pasta snobs. We have been looking for a great place to take out great homemade pesto pasta with all the yummy extras and Rosanna's fit the bill!... More
