This restaurant is the one situated next to Cedar Lodge at El Portal .There is a breakfast place in the same building. I went for a dinner and it was ok. Nothing great about it. Average food. Tad overpriced due to the location.

Authentic 60's diner with a local bar. The restaurant has self-service and call out you number of your order. Don't let this put you off once you receive your diner it's all ok. You have to try the hamburgers.

The service is a disaster. The food Greasey, salad, low quality and very expensive. Is a black point in Yosemite.

Stopped in here for Dinner because I was staying at Cedar Lodge & this was convenient. Small menu included burgers and mostly bar food. For 2 burgers and a bottle of wine we spent over $60. We had to order at the register and take a number for the food. Bar drinks had to be ordered separate & service was... More

Very noisy; scruffy; not very large portions for the price; staff harassed. Veggie spring rolls apparently had pork in them so not veggie at all; salad bar mostly empty and not being replenished; veggie burger as tough as leather. Food just greasy and flavourless. I do not recommend at all.

We went to the bar early, had a few drinks, and a snack. Michael, the bartender, was fantastic to talk with. He had great stories and even knew the area we were from. He also made a great drink!

If you're after a good burger and a cold beer then this place will suit you just fine. The food is decent and the location is convenient if you're staying at Cedar Lodge.

We stay in the area every year, and always go here for cheeseburgers, veggieburgers, fries, soda and cold beer. Onion rings good too. Usually can't go wrong with these simple choices. If you want a nice dinner, go up to the Yosemite View, there is a pizza place too. The Cedar Lodge restaurant has a decent and filling breakfast buffet also,... More

Had dinner in the grill one night and enjoyed the food. burgers, fish and chips, sandwiches, and a small salad bar. I had the chicken fajita wrap and it had a lot of flavor. I think it was better then some of the other choices, but everyone enjoyed their meals. Kids meals in the grill were for 12 and under,... More
