We stopped here when leaving Yosemite. The menu is simple and the food was good. Extra points for wonderful staff that really made us feel welcome.

The breakfast was pretty good, though they did get my wife's order wrong. They fixed it. Lunch was poor, had tomato basil soup which tasted like they poured out a can of crushed tomatoes and heated it, terrible. Prices are a little high, service is OK, nothing special.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food a bit limited. Bacon, two types of scrambled egg, grits (I think?), French toast, toast, butter, jams, yoghurt, pastries, muffins, fruit and cereal. $13.95 with extra for juice but you could have soda, tea and coffee included. Most of it tasted alright but seemed overpriced and a bit bland for me. Limited choice in... More

It may be best place for breakfast in the valley with buffet breakfast and lot of options. The pricing is pretty good too.

This restaurant is the one situated next to Cedar Lodge at El Portal. There is also a lunch/dinner place (Canyon Bar and Grill) in the same building. Food was good. Portions were good. There was only one elderly lady to serve everyone who came in the morning. But she took care of everyone nicely, albeit with a slight delay which... More

We were staying at the attached Cedar Lodge and were here for breakfast before we hit the Yosemite National Park. We ordered the usual coffee, fried eggs, hashbrown, toast and sausage. One guy was manning the entire restaurant and he was very attentive despite being very busy. The food was good - particularly the hashbrown, and we had our fill.... More

Horrible and Painful Experience, we didnt get much choice as we wanted to stay close to the park. The restaurant did not provide quality food nor service. The worst was my Coach sunglasses was stolen. Be aware! Will not recommend.

We ate dinner in the bar grill twice. The fish and fries, chicken basket and onion rings were excellent! We had breakfast in the restaurant one morning. We didn't appreciate paying $11.95/per person for a breakfast buffet that is free at most hotels.

The brunch was $12 and was your basic assortment of food you would expect for a brunch price. No ordering off a menu allowed for breakfast.
