My wife and I went for breakfast on Saturday about 9:30 a.m. After we ordered and got our coffee and food our waitress only checked on us once. Our cups were empty for over 5 minutes. We also waited about 10 minutes after another person cleared our table to get our check. The couple in the booth next to us... More

Needed to waste a little time so we stopped in. Not sure what to expect we were pleased! It is a local joint. Fair amount of seating in the bar area, lots in the restaurant. The bar area is mix history and taxidermy. elk, deer, birds, fish etc. It is an interesting collection. Beer was ice cold, food was great!

Bud's is the go to local place. Great food in historic old building right at main crossroads in downtown Dixon. Average menu offerings, although the Prime Rib will rival the more popular Cattlemens off the freeway, but food prepared well. They have great specials every night in a very comfortable bar dining setting.

Used to go to Bud's a lot when we we lived in Vacaville so the wife and I were very much looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, we weren't very happy with this visit. I ordered the Lamb Chops and although tasty and cooked very well, they were a bit tough. My wife ordered the Vegetable Pasta with Shrimp. The pasta... More

Bud's is over done in my opinion, the people just don't seem friendly to me and its a very small restaurant, the service is slow, and not unfriendly but not friendly this is not based on one visit it has stayed consistent. Parking is not the best either.

My wife order an omelet and wanted fruit instead of the potatoes and toast. They charged her for the fruit. It should have taken the place of the potatoes and toast. Why should you pay the same price for just an omelet as you do for an omelet , potatoes and toast. Also the fruit was just 3 strawberries and... More

Recommended by a friend as the best in Dixon. He was joking, after our last visit in May to San Francisco, we used this as a drop off point from Vegas. Dixon lovely, people lovely, second visit to buds, what a mistake. It was so bad last time, we thought it would , and could only be better.MISTAKE. If you... More

We stopped for lunch after going to the motorcycle show at the fairgrounds. It was highly recommended and did not disappoint us. The food was very good and so was the service. The prices were also very good. We'll be back the next time we're in Dixon.

Great food, attentive service without being oppressive. Good beers and ales on tap. One dining area has a step up to enter and my not be handicapped accessible.

We are in Dixon for a Alpaca show at the local fairgrounds, our family decided to stop in this local place to have a early dinner on a Sunday. We were seated immediatley, our bar order was taken a few minutes later - Our bar drinks were standard, nothing fancy, they came quickly and cold which is always a plus... More
