It took forever and service in between was not great. For the price, I expected so much more. Go for the food if you have at least 2 hours, 3 more like it.

I recently received a very generous gift card to Alexander's from my employer, and while my son had dined there in the past (at their former location next to Vallco mall), I had never been. I made a reservation for a Wednesday at 6:30 pm,...More
An amazing dinner! Each course was amazing. Palette prep spoons were a very nice start. Breads were soft and fresh Popcorn crab was perfectly battered and fried. Enjoyed them even without the sauce. The filet and ribeyes were both great with distinctive tastes. Ribeye was...More
I would agree with the reviews that for the price I would expect amazing perfection, however that is not the case. First we ordered mussels that did not come, they not only did not apologize but never acknowledged it until we brought it up. Everyone...More
Alexander's Steakhouse. Where to start? Well, let's start with the fact that this location was a Michelin Star rated restaurant, it has since lost that honor, but that is a hell of a feat to obtain. It still retains it's recommendation from me though. I...More
The decor is rather classic. The service is professional. The meat is really good. Price is in the high range.
First, prepare for price shock if you haven’t dined here. The cheapest stake is a filet for $50. For that price I expect perfection. Sadly the cut I had wasn’t great and certainly not worth that price. It was cut relatively flat for a filet....More
To be sure, the ambience is not anywhere near as great as it was in its old location on Wolf Rd. Still, the food is just as good and the service is just as remarkable. I love how the pay such amazing detail to the...More
For starters, we enjoyed the Hamachi Shots and the Jamon Iberico Cinco Jotas. Both very good. I ordered the 19 oz Bone-In Ribeye -- it was excellent! And the table shared the Alexander’s Trio: a sampling of Domestic, F1 wagyu, and Full-Blood Wagyu Beef. Warning:...More
The service is what stands out at this restaurant. Having just experienced the dishes at other restaurants such as Bouchon and others it was hard for the dishes here to compare. Not that they weren't okay but just that we've had better in the days...More
