Went here for breakfast, after a short wait (not many tables inside, had we come 30 minutes later, it would have ZERO wait) we got a booth. The place seems like a very "local" place and the interior is very much personalized. Not like Cracker Barrel where they all have the same stuff, this place has unique stuff hanging around.... More

My son, who lives in Culver City, loves this place. Not sure why. After waiting in the cold for 30 minutes, our breakfast on December 26 was awful. Service was dreadful (had to ask for water three times and still did not receive) Omelet was good but pancakes were ice cold. Very understaffed

My sole purpose was to taste their corned beef hash. It is made with veggies giving it a very different, hearty taste. (It was a long time coming, but worth the wait.) S& W has a very intimate, neighborhood, family atmosphere--Staff knows many customers by name. The newbies like me are also treated like old friends. A great spot with... More

The owner of S & W Country Diner opened up Michelle's Country Diner at the Crenshaw/Baldwin Plaza. It's located where the old Fat Burgers was on Marlton. I took my mom there for her birthday and she loved the coffee and the food. It is not easy pleasing my mom.

A friendly little local spot, always busy and a good value! Classic diner food in a comfortable atmosphere.

I stopped here for lunch when I was finished at my client. It's a quaint little restaurant right in Culver City, but bring cash - they don't take plastic. My waitress was amazing. I chose the burger and fries. It was the best burger I've had in so long! The menu had so many options I can't wait to come... More

Great place to go for a wonderful breakfast. There's always a line on the weekends, so the best time to go, if you can make it, is early during the week. But otherwise it is worth the wait! Large portions of delicious, fresh food. Wait staff very friendly and helpful.

I had eggs, homemade meatloaf and gravy, ($8.50) and the vanilla nut coffee ($2.25). Delightful! However, the "biscuit" that I chose as my bread was a disappointment. It was like an undercooked piece of white cornbread. My friend had the eggs, turkey breast sausage and an english muffin. ($8.95). She also had the coffee. She enjoyed every last morsel. Overall,... We enjoyed breakfast at the S&W Country Diner. The food was good & service friendly. I had the plain waffle, which could have been cooked just a bit longer, but another person had the waffle with strawberries & cream, which was excellent. I requested crispy bacon & it was done to my liking. Very good value for the price. You... More

There are very few places like this left in LA. A small old fashion country diner. One man in he kitchen... 2 women eating ... and the food is simple... fresh.. and good and greasy...
