We are ice cream fans, and this place knocked it clear out of the park! A GREAT BIG HOME RUN! Better than Cold Stone by FAR! Go, and experiment too!

You can't go wrong with ice cream and this place was good... but not great - the second place in Coronado that I would rate a 5 for ambiance and appearance, but the food itself is not much above average. I did really enjoy the caramel ice cream

This shop has some of the best ice cream I have ever experienced. I like banana ice cream with walnuts. The server pressed the walnuts into the ice cream on her own volition. Very friendly staff.

Busy place, which is to be expected. Ice cream is very tasty and super creamy texture. A bit of a line but they do a good job of helping people quickly. We waited longer to pay than to pick our flavors.

If you've read my reviews you know I'm extremely picky when it comes to my ice cream. I love a hot fudge sundae so the first thing I do is ask for a little spoon tester of their hot fudge to see if it is one I enjoy… This place did not have a decent hot fudge IMO so I... More

Yummy ice cream served from a 1950's style storefront. The long line is worth the wait for the frozen goodies! Most servings we saw were enough for a couple to share. Big servings. A must visit place!

My first time there the ice cream was wonderful but my husbands was crystalized as if it had thawed and then been refrozen. The second time there my ice cream was crystalized . It still tastes okay but not the right consistency. Not sure if there is a way to make sure you avoid this, other than asking for a... More

If you like "old time" malts or ice cream this is a must stop. They have a real jukebox with controllers on each table and use the old green mix-masters to whip up the malts. My mouth is watering as I write the review . . .

Yum, yum, yum! We went 4 times on vacation, due to how good the flavors were, the freshness of the waffle cones, and the size of the scoops. The prices are acceptable for a vacation resort town, as well. I had the Mocha, very strong choc with coffee flavor, the Coffee, much milder flavor, the chocolate Mint, a very strong... More

Awesome little Shop not far from Del on the strip; good ice cream, better ambiance. Good luck finding a place to sit on warm nights! Kids favorite was a cookie ice cream sandwhich. As with everything on Coronado, it's a bit pricey, and long lines at night and on warm days. Would return mostly for the memories the kids have... More

A brick & mortar neighborhood institution, MooTime Creamery has been serving up America's favorite dessert to locals and tourists alike for the last 15 years. From Double Dark Chocolate to Stracciatella, the locally owned, '50s style shop provides Coronado with premium handcrafted ice cream, sorbet, yogurt and hand-rolled waffle cones all made fresh daily with the highest quality ingredients. MooTime first opened on Orange Avenue in 1998. Churning out ice cream in a fun, nostalgic atmosphere, the local favorite has seen such stars as Magic Johnson, Jason Alexander, Mandy Moore and Cuba Gooding Jr. come through its doors to enjoy a MooTime treat. MooTime serves a variety of old-fashioned delights from floats and sodas to sundaes and splits. Catering is also available, with a list of options including ice cream bars, float bars and hot fudge bars, taking all of the fun and flavor offsite.
