First off I was totally skeptic to go to this Diner. It is small cramped and hot. However, the food portions are gigantic, delicious, fresh cooked and taste delicious! When we visit Coronado again this will be our go-to place for breakfast anytime of the...More

Most of the restaurants and food outlets close relatively early in Coronado, except for the Night and Day! This stays open until 2am and usually has a line most of the day and night to get on as it is VERY small. You can sit...More

We went here on our vacation for breakfast several times. Go early, it gets crowded easily. We had the Breakfast Burrito. It was huge, we ordered one, and it was plenty. My husband said his Huevos Rancheros were the best he has ever had. And...More

I don't know why I had low expectations but I did. Thankfully I was overwhelmed by the food and the size of the portions. Sometime you get good food, but not a lot of it. Other time you get a lot (too much) ok, average...More

My husband and I wanted a good breakfast, so we went with Trip Advisor's reviews and tried this place. I was concerned at first because of appearance, but the food was just amazing! Service was quick and they cooked the food right in front of...More

Yow! We should have split one breakfast! This good-natured greasy spoon serves regular folks and active-duty military. Just watching the synchronized motion of the cooks in a tiny space is worth the visit. Friendly, fast, and did I say... gigantic omelet?!

We love our military and local folks, we also have a great time meeting new people who venture into our tiny cafe. Thank you for your post and come back soon:) Jody Esquer

Did you know you can get French fries in a burrito? The Burritos here are huge and very tasty. There were three of us and we were able to sit at the counter and each ordered one-it was a lot of food. The cook is...More

They say everything is bigger in Texas (our home state that we love and adore), but when it comes to monster burritos, California takes the cake! My husband ordered the California Burrito, which was the size of four burritos back home. It was delectable! I...More

Cozy and small, this is the place for authentic Mexican diner food. Super friendly waitstaff. I had the carnitas sandwich on rye - delish! My kids had burritos, and my son loved his steak tostada!

This is a small diner, that has been in business since 1929, the Esquer family has owned it since 1996, we have 20 seats and the counter surrounds a flat-top grill and vintage hood that was salvaged off a ship more than 100 years old. You watch your found being cooked by one person, depending on what cook you get your food will get to you fast or...not so fast but will always be delicious!. Weekend mornings are the busiest and we are open late, Friday and Saturday Nights till 4am.
