I had been here before in the winter and had a lovely cozy experience. But nothing like the summer where you can sit outside (with your dog) and have a fun, unexpected and also yummy experience! Wait staff is terrific and the menu is varied. I say unexpected because there are unexpected patches on the floor and unusual gold country... More

Great little place off the highway. Husband LOVED his chicken fried steak so much he wanted to order a second one! Quick stop, friendly service, good food. Will visit again!

I drove up to it and, if I were a person who was a little skeptical about how a cafe looks, I'd have driven off and driven to another place. But, I like to try out places that are unique, different and perhaps a little old-timey. Did I ever get what I ordered! Literally! Yes, it is rustic, to say... More

First of all we wrote down our name for a table and told the hostess we would wait at the bar, we went to the bar and ordered Bloody Mary's , what a joke. Very small mason jar, with no veggies. Even though the couple next to us had veggies in their Bloody Mary's. we asked the bartender about this... More

We stopped by here on a weekend trip to grab a bite to eat. Great food and the service was good. The decor and establishment are very welcoming. They bring you back in time to an amazing era. We will be back here again.

We come here for a hearty breakfast with endless coffee. We come here for lunch after working. We come here because it's our town dive and we love it. Waiters are bustling and friendly. It's what every town needs, their local diner. Food is pretty good too.

Prices, portions, service and quality of the food is very good. As locals, we would come here over other spots in Colfax. It is convenient along the side road with ok parking. Have not had a bad experience here. We like their breakfasts.

We have been dining here since the D/D opened. This is the best food on I 80 between the Bay Area and Reno / Tahoe. The D/D is very inviting and now has 2 rooms, the original room and now the pub. Their hamburgers are the best around with beef from a local ranch that can't be beat. The club... More

When in the mood for something to eat on the way to or from the Tahoe area, I like to stop at Dine n Dash right off highway 80 in Colfax. Great food, genuinely friendly staff, fair prices in a fun atmosphere mix of people. There is a pub adjacent which is a good place to soak up the local... More
