You can make your own sandwich. What a concept! Put whatever you want in it and enjoy a freshly baked breakfast.

Chile Relleno Croissant is out of the ordinary! We love this special treat on weekends - croissant with California chile and cheese inside - we introduce this breakfast goody to all of our relatives and guests that visit us. Some Crust has been the best local bakery forever. We Claremonters appreciate it so much!

One of the crown jewels of the Claremont Village. You won't find a better Bearclaw anywhere. All the Danish are sublime. The Egg Sliders are some of the best breakfast sandwiches anywhere. The wait for the Sliders can get long on the weekend but grab a seat with a sidewalk view and enjoy. Don't leave with out a few cookies.... More

I love egg sandwiches and have eaten them for years and for some reason I found out this bakery had them and you could put your own together. So we were in town for just two nights but walked here for coffee and for an egg sandwich on sour dough bread with tomato and provolone and a great aioli sauce... More

I have been going to this little boutique bakery since I first came to Claremont to go to Pitzer College in the late seventies. They really haven't changed much in the intervening years. I absolutely love their cookies and their delicious sweet rolls. It's a lovely bakery. They cater to college students, but all are welcome.

If you want to be seen in Claremont, spend some time at Some Crust. The bread, pastries, cakes, sandwiches and coffee are always in high demand. Sometime, you can sit on the sidewalk and watch Claremont go by. Most customers get their orders "to go" but there are also regulars who you will surely see the next time you return.

The bakery is s-s-s-so good! It even has some items that are gluten free which makes it even better. Try the lemon bars!

Step in through their marvelously squeaky screen door and find a tempting assortment of baked goods and coffee. There are beautifully decorated small cakes to carry out, flakey croissant, buttery cookies, and fresh bread. Great source for tasty wedding cakes, but be sure to order far in advance.

Medium coffee and a pinwheel cost you $5.25. Foods tops, prices are tops too. This is a Claremont landmark I often see my neighbors there.
