Great service and gettin our dinner was fairly fast... some French fries on the floor by our table was not fun to almost slip on.. asked for brown gravy and got a yellowish chicken gravy?? Asked for mashed potatoes and they gave me what looked like mashed but was actually just a baked potato out of the skin.. that's a... More

We vacation at Lake Almanor during the summer season each year. Our favorite restaurant is the Kopper Kettle. The menu offers good selection for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is good and the servings are huge! Great deal for the price and, depending on your appetite, two people can share or you may have a portion to take home... More

I've been here many times, usually for breakfast. The food is okay, nothing special but not terrible either. Large portions are the norm.

Excellent service, the food was good. Our friends had a dog that would not have been happy being out in the car and would have barked, so we were allowed to bring him out with us on the patio. I know when these friends come back to visit, we will go here again.

Go somewhere else for dinner. Pork chops: dry and flavorless. Vegetable: carrots. Suggest breakfast here instead.

Our waitress was wonderful. The cafe itself so quaint. The food was delicious; hot, ready in minutes and the biscuits.....light and fluffy:)

Service was hit and miss. So was the food. The turkey dinner came with a good baked potato with one hard spot, a half ear of yellow corn saturated in butter, bland turkey deli-sliced, and chicken gravy more like melted fat.

Three stars for breakfast, acceptable but a little pricey for what you get. Old style diner, probably look like it did 40 years ago. Very friendly, nice staff. Dinner was awful-- one star. Broiled fish was cold inside, perhaps cooked while still frozen? When informed of the problem, the friendly waitress asked "would you like me to heat that up... More

My partner and I ate breakfast. The food was very good. The biscuits were awesome. We thought both the home fries and hash browns were also excellent. It was a lot of food and the price was reasonable. The servers were very friendly. I look forward to returning for the pancake.

Thank Pat W
