Spaghettini Caruso? WOW! Bold choice in today's market. SO rich, so tasty. I'm a sucker for chicken livers and I'm a sucker for anything sauted in Marsala, so this was heaven. My wife's Pasta Primavera was melt in your mouth good. And a bonus, the place is filled with photography from the Ansel Adams of racing cars, Jesse Alexander!!!!

The Crab Louie's are amazing. So good we ate here 3 times and always had the same thing! The crab was plentiful and very fresh. The Hearts of Palm didn't seem like they were from a can, and the dressing was delicious. The restaurant has a nice wine list, too.

Have had dinner and lunch @ Sly's. Both were just exceptional. Have to say that the service for dinner was one of the best I think I have ever had. There were three of us and everyone raved about their food. Gotta try it!

Carpinteria is one of our favorite places to visit. Been wanting to check out a new restaurant, love our regular place, down the street, but wanted something new. From the moment you step in, the service is very friendly, bright and clean. The place is huge, lot's of seating in the back, which is where we asked to be seated.... More

What a fabulous birthday dinner! From the greeting at the front door to the gracious waiter and table assistant. Our drinks were fabulous and dinner was divine! The atmosphere is casual with the option of dining on the patio or inside. Wonderful in every way!

So-called "fine" restaurants go to great lengths to develop menus and wine lists, greet guests, prepare good food and then, of course, charge expensive prices. Sly's is a perfect example. Nice menu, nice waitress, healthy prices. Then why do these restaurants allow so called "bus boys" to remove dishes by recklessly swiping away dishes, stacking them highly and loudly and... More

Ducked away from the Avocado Festival crowd to have a Bloody Mary made with fresh ingredients! Quaint restaurant in the downtown beach community with unique gourmet food and specialty drinks.

Although the menu displayed a lot of meat offerings, the seafood selections that we ordered were excellent. Fresh fish and shrimp along with a great bottle of wine from an above average list of wines made for a memorable evening. John and Antonio were attentive without hovering, which allowed us to enjoy a leisurely meal.
