This place is always busy. The weekends are packed with the younger set. Everything is good but I am partial to the enchiladas. I meet with friends there quite often. Perfect people watching location, awesome food, great prices. They sell a lot of beer and margaritas. Love sitting outside.

Large group of us went for a late dinner, had a variety of meals and everyone was pleased. Had been here many years ago, and the food is still good. Staff was quick to serve us all, and tried hard to accommodate all our requests. Would return anytime I'm back in the area. Parking is difficult, but, it's California.. too... More

My husband and I have come here for many years. It is always fun and delicious. I love that when it is nice out we can eat outside. However, inside is very festive. The wait staff are very proficient and friendly. The food is consistently excellent Mexican food. This is certainly a restaurant that doesn't disappoint.

Loved the authentic atmosphere, food, Margaritas, salsa and good service. The place was really, really busy for a Sunday night. But maybe it always is (we were travelers). Just glad we got to go in and enjoy.

The bar seats just a handful of folks, so get there early as the locals tend to "save" seats for their friends. The bartender is a nice guy that makes a good drink. The bar is small and serves the entire restaurant, so drinks can get backed up frequently. It's not due to a lack of effort by the staff.... More

Chips were old tasting. Serve was terrible. We had to keep asking for refills. Carne Asada burrito was plan. It only had meat. Chile Reano had a think layer of batter/dough and had a small chile in the center. Beans were dry. We had a party of 4 and 3 of us thought our dinner was terrible and the 4th... More

The expected fare arrives hot and hearty at your table in large portions. Great salsa. The dining area made me think "old world" and offered a warm cozy escape from the elements. The patio was closed when we arrived, but looked lovely. Note, if you're with a party, ask up-front about separate checks.

Had veg enchiladas and its huge, easily 2 people could eat from it. The tortilla chips are cool starter and good service. The taste of food is average, needs to be more spicer and chilli

My favorite dish is their Tostada's. They are huge and if you get the double ones, you will be full for the whole day. I love their rice and beans too. I really like to sit out in the patio area on a nice day. We try to come to this restaurant at least every other month. Their chips and... More

El Burro is an ok Mexican restaurant. It is not super but it is not bad. It is in a convenient location. Portions are big and quite heavy for me but come on... Mexican food has to be big and heavy!! The patio is comfortable in the right season
