Excellent service, delightful food and choices, great atmosphere. Chose this on a whim and took extended family of 9. It's now on my list to return to often. We went to the Ventura location, there is Camarillo and I think several others.

Lure Fish House is our favorite restaurant on the planet - we are serious foodies, have eaten our way around the world - know excellence when we experience it. The owners obviously run a "tight ship" with perfection at the helm. We enjoyed everything - from the moment you walk into the over-the-top elegant beachy decorated restaurant to the extremely... We LOVE this restaurant every time we are around this area. It never disappoints in flavor and selections even accommodating our soy-allergy. Their servers are SO helpful and give the BEST suggestions to try different dishes. The last time we were there, our server suggested the "arctic char but, cooked medium". It was delicious and fresh. Thanks again for a... More

Lure is great for seafood. The Happy hour is outstanding. We love the muscles in tomato sauce with the warm sourdough bread. Yum. Good grilled fish tacos too. There are lots of vegetable accompaniments to the entrees, some which are organic. The cocktails are fresh, not mixes. Try a blood orange marguerita or the casa amigos with fresh grapefruit. I... Always great food and service, and if it isn't, management is quick to rectify. Can't go wrong with the ceviche and/or the calamari for starters! Love the Strawberry Spring Salad with fresh salmon(I personally sub out the goat cheese for feta...amazing!) My husband craves the Spicy Tequila Lime Shrimp Pasta. Happy it's in town and don't have to drive far😋

Great Happy Hour menu. They have great food and drinks on the Happy Hour menu. Everything is so fresh and delicious. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. I've been here for Happy Hour, Lunch and dinner. As a couple with friends and for special events.

We met family that drove up from LA as we were driving down the coast from SF. It had the best reviews in the area and other than an InNOut or Applebee's there wasn't much else. They couldn't guarantee a reservation but we decided to try walk in. It's a lovely space. We waited about half an hour to be... More

Our second visit was as terrific as the first! We came for lunch this time. The clam chowder was the best I'd ever tasted. Rich and thick with lots of clams. The potato was there but didn't dominate. We had broiled local halibut with rice pilaf, broiled yellow tail, and the swordfish tacos. Couldn't resist having the Parmesan potato cake... More

While on vacation from the Midwest we happened on this gem. I always have fish tacos when I am in California and this establishment has many varieties to choose from. I had the grilled sea bass and they were delicious. Along with the tacos I had the best side salad ever. It was the quinoa salad and simply, wow! My... More

We have been going to Lure for several years, and we have never been disappointed with our meal. As fish restaurants go, Lure is medium priced, and their food is always fresh and consistent. I believe that they buy their fish fresh daily, and they sometimes run out of certain selections. Their menu is quite varied, so it seems there... More
