Great breakfast place off the 10 fwy in Calimesa. It’s open and had Great food and service to match. Social distancing in place and outside tables also if it gets busy. When we left several of the outside tables were occupied.

Ate here two different times with my friends while visiting the area. There's not many places that serve Pigs in a blanket! That's what I had two different times while in there and they were very good! Very nice staff, good service. Would recommend the place.

Remodel coming along very nicely. Looking good, but not sure about yellow walls. New booths nice and comfy. Only negative is all the advertising on table tops and Little yellow signs in your face on tables. Food and service cont to be excellent.

New menu reflects the quality and value and great food. Always excellent service and the owners Jaun and his wife are usually right there helping serve and of course he likes to joke a bit so keeps everyone happy. Family friendly and many regular customers....The only complaint is they're not open in the evening, but that might change. Oh, the BBQ ribs, tritip and pulled pork are awesome.More

The menu continues to get better and the food is excellent. Soup and sandwich for lunch is not only very delicious but reasonably priced. Rib basket, tritip and pulled port especially good. Tough on the waistline, but o well. Visit regularly.

Cafe Royale was my favorite place to eat breakfast. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The coffee is great. It recently changed ownership. I think that the quality of food has gone down. Regular portions have been reduced, For example , the zuccini fries...on the lunch menu. Of course this may seem a small detail to others, but the price remained the same. But that is the way of many things now .More

Everything has always been excellent especially breakfast, ribs, and pulled pork. Split pea soup on wed awesome. Grilled chicken salad cant be beat. Excellent service, New owners Jaun and his wife doing excellent job.Of course Margie has been there forever and leader of the pack....I do finally have a complaint. Had the "hot beef sandwich" twice and both times same thing. Sad to say the brown gravy is extremely salty and roast beef full of gristle. Best roast beef at Steak and Burger.More

Came here twice last week to try their lunch and breakfasts. We were pleasantly surprised on how great everything tasted. For lunch I ordered half a chicken salad sandwich, which was excellent and a cup of clam chowder, that was one of the best I've...had in a long time. Then for breakfast the next day we tried their bacon and biscuit gravy, that was super good a long with an omelette and country potatoes. Everything we have had there has been excellent. The staff is super nice and efficient. We met one of the owners on Saturday morning and he was telling us to try some of his other favorites that they serve. Pretty much everything is homemade. Atmosphere is mediocre, as most restaurants are in this area. But the food and service definitely make up for it. They serve breakfast and lunch until 2pm.More

Ben here a couple different times, happy to see they have B&G on the Menu (Biscuits 'n Gravy) having moved from an area that had a great B&G. but what I found was no where what I expected, it proved to be a weakly flavored...imitation. I was back for lunch a couple years later (recently) and that was "okay" as we were there with others . and I think there was a new owner or mgr? but to me it's still just another one of the non-special restaurants in the area- that i would rather opt out of- if the choice was mine..More

Stopped in for breakfast one day. The food was good and served quickly. We will keep this place on our list to eat.
