This was great sushi. AYCE option. Fresh food, fast service, nice staff. The lighting is a bit dark, but not too bad.

We usually go to a Sushi place in Yucaipa but decided to try 21 Sushi due to the lower prices. We ordered take out and should have checked it when picking it up because when we got home we realized that the miso soup we...ordered was missing and that there was absolutely no wasabi. How can there not be wasabi included? I was going to give them a pass on that as people forget things. I am not usually critical of food but I did not like any of the food. We had a california and philly roll and a green salad with sesame dressing. The rice seemed watery and the green salad was nothing exciting. My husband and I decided it was a good learning experience. You get what you pay for and next time we will go to our usual place where they have great rolls and awesome salad (the green dressing is the best). Will not get Sushi here again.More

We were very hopeful about this restaurant, as we really enjoy fresh sushi and haven't yet found a good place nearby. This isn't it. They feature an all-you-can-eat pricing, which caused a little concern. The service was nice, but our two orders came out about...15 minutes apart. As for the food, the edamame appetizer beans were over-ripe and tough, the salmon and yellowtail in our rolls weren't quite as fresh as they could be, and the chicken fried rice we ordered to take home had a rancid-oil flavor. Maybe OK if you've never had excellent fresh sushi.More

I really enjoyed this sushi house. We all ordered the AYCE sushi. American Dream Roll - delicious! I love eel. I love eel sauce. I love shrimp tempura. I love California rolls. That was this roll. Will definitely order again. If you're a first timer...looking for a good cooked roll, I'd recommend this one. 5/5 stars. Shrimp Dynamite Roll - really good, but really basic. It's a Cali roll, topped with chopped pieces of shrimp tempura. Spicy mayo drizzle. 4.5/5 stars. Baked Green Mussels - didn't arrive the way it was pictured. I expected a crab mayo mix on top with a crunchy panko topping... but it arrived as plain open shell mussels, with a sauce. Still really tasty, but wasn't the same as advertised. 3/5 stars. Seaweed Salad - lived for this! It was a layer of spiralized daikon I think, then a mound of seaweed, and a delicious spear of pickled radish. It was basically a korean pickled radish (danmuji) which is yummy. With a light sprinkle of sesame seeds. 5/5 stars. Salmon Skin Handroll - one of my favorite things to order at any sushi establishment. The one from here is pretty basic. Rice, crispy salmon skin, eel sauce, all wrapped up into a handroll. I wish it would have had some sprouts, carrots, and cucumber... but I still enjoyed it. 4/5 stars. Overall this was a great value, and delicious! Roughly $100 for 4 people AYCE, and we ate almost $200 worth of sushi. Service was efficient and friendly. Will be back!!More
