We were there about a week ago and had two experiences. The first time we went in we were told that there would be a 40 minute wait even though the dining room was half empty so.... the next night we made a reservation. we had a young child with us and the service was good to start with but... Best place in Burney to have a dinner date or a fabulous steak. On our arrival we got greeted by Art, which I can assume he is the owner. Art invited us to the bar while he checked on a table for us. We got a drink at the bar and shorty after that we got sited. The food was... More

We both had prime rib. Delicious and cooked just the way I like it. Salad had several vegies and excellent blue cheese dressing. The wait staff was attentive. Full bar. We enjoyed our meal!

The meat ravioli and the chicken marsala were good. The minestrone soup was excellent. The salad was so-so. The bread was so-so, and it was served with margarine, not butter.

Variety of choices on menu. My husband had a sirloin topped with mushrooms and I had a blackened salmon Ceasar salad. Both were excellent. Wine by the glass was very reasonable at $7 for Kendall Jackson Cabernet Sauvignon. Would definitely recommend if you're staying in Burney. Note they are closed on Sunday (and I think Monday also).

The restaurant is for sale, so we weren't sure we wanted to eat there, but there isn't much choice in Burney. It was very good. We were there in August and it wasn't very busy. I had a salmon salad which was very good. My wife had a steak which was seasoned perfectly.

Had not been there in over two years. Prime rib was very salty. Wife ordered a Diet Pepsi. We were charged for an extra soda because she had 3 refills. When I questioned the charge, I was told it is clearly stated in the menu there is an additional charge after 2 refills. I would have appreciated a heads up... More

We tried this restaurant as it was close to our motel and we had just pulled into town with a powerful hunger. We both ordered the big salads which live up to their name and includes soup. Clam chowder (apparently a local favorite) and minestrone (yum) . I enjoyed the steak salad which was cooked to perfection, and the cranberries... More

Have always had a great meal here with good service and hospitality. Owner is normally there to make sure that all things are satisfactory. Would recommend to anyone.

I would not recommend eating here. I ordered a prime rib dinner. I never eat potatoes and always get a vegetable instead. The waitress came back and told me the cook would not allow the potato change and if I wanted a vegetable I had to pay extra for it. I was absolutely shocked! This has NEVER happened before. Well...
