I have been here twice and don't see what all the hype is about. It's a neat nostalgic setting but the food is pretty average. So I guess if your looking for the atmosphere of a throwback restaurant of days gone by or it's just something to get off your bucket list go for it but there are a lot... More

I grew up going to Big Boy, but there are none where I live now. The menu reminded me of going. Food was decent and service was good. They were packed in the restaurant for the evening.

Everytime we come to LA, we HAVE to eat here! The burgers, the fries, the salads, and the seasoning salt.......so good! I crave their thousand island dressing and their season salt. I buy a new bottle of it at each annual visit. It's a historical site, and it feels like a blast from the past...from a simpler, less commercialized time.

The burger was good. They have a good variety of other items on the menu. It's set up 50's style and is usually really busy. It would remind you of a Waffle House but not quite as dirty and a little bigger. Food was priced a little high but not too bad.

Bob's is like taking a step back in time to the 1950's. They have been making burgers for many years and they do it well. You can't help but to walk by while strolling on Riverside Drive. They make old-fashioned burgers and fries, but they don't stop there. They have many choices, including salads, breakfast, fish and chips, etc. My... More

The Big Boy Combo is still delicious and a good value. Make sure to get a side of their famous blue cheese dressing for your fries and salad. Don't miss the hot fudge cake.

Very fun place to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is what you expect from a diner and servings are large, but the best reason to visit is the retro chic architecture. This place is old school. They have "cruise in" Friday nights but we missed that. On our list for next time!

Bobs big boy restaurant is a 1950's style burger barn. It is extremely popular , so expect to wait for a table , it's open 24/7 and every time we went past it was busy, the food is fantastic and a lot of it , thoroughly worth the visit if your in this part of town. It's great doing what... More

Parking: Easy - the parking lot was large and we had no problem stopping for a 3pm meal coming in from the Bob Hope airport. Ambiance: The original Bob's Big Boy #1. Kitschy fun, leather booths, 50's style signage. Tiny, tiny bathrooms and some booths are too small for normal people. We got seated at one of these and they... More
