This is a throwback to old days - good basic food - big helpings - service was OK - bit slow with one guy serving - but good prices, hot food, fun atmosphere - my mum, from Scotland loved the experience - she said she felt like she was in the movie Grease... we were there for breakfast and had... We definitely came for the 50's ambiance and 50's styled mixed soda's. Though decorated with 50's kitsch the ambiance was flat. We put money in our on table juke box for 3 songs and sadly there was no sound on the speakers. When I asked our waitress she just said the volume was turned down and didn't turn it up... More

We found this place by accident while we were looking for another. A holiday Monday and it was the only restaurant open for breakfast. Portions are huge and food quite good! The picky husband, who always complaints about runny eggs and soggy bacon, had rave reviews and said that this place knows how to make a simple breakfast shine. I... More

There is nothing fancy about this retro diner style restaurant. The prices are also retro style. They are about half of what you would pay at any of the other breakfast restaurants in the area. You will get plain straightforward breakfast items like you might fix at home. You can get two eggs, toast, bacon, home fries and toast for... More

The sidewalk cafes in Burbank are great for people watching, and the Great Grill offers that and more. There is friendly service, very good food, fast service and good value. A great place for a tasty and inexpensive lunch. What more can you ask for!

I got tired of eating hotel food and stumbled upon this place. Good ol' eggs bacon and pancakes with coffee for under $10.

They are nice, it's clean and they offer a $3.99 breakfast for seniors that is more than enough food to fill you up.

Met my cousin for lunch at this '50s-style grill. It's a smallish place with lots of vintage photos of Elvis and the 4 Seasons on the wall, mini-juke boxes at each table (though mostly featuring music from the '70s and '80s), and "Little Deuce Coupe" playing softly in the background. The atmosphere wasn't bad. I thought the food was OK.... More

I am not a connoisseur or trying to evaluate this place against a Michelin Star restaurant. I am here just to report the facts as they have happened to me. I have been here a couple of time and in both cases the service was OK to good and the food was less than pleasing. The first time I visited... More

Excellent breakfast, and very attentive service. Prices were better than I expected for the area, too.
