Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We hadn't been to Firestone since they redecorated their outdoor "Covid" space. It looks great. Too bad the food and service doesn't match the decor. We had an early dinner so the restaurant was not crowded but getting eye contract with a server for questions...was impossible. The menu is limited and they now have a "Toast" QR way of ordering and using this method means you have to sign up, create a password and now expect junk email. We ended up going to the bar to order instead, but waited some time before anyone behind the bar asked if they could help. I understand limited staff is a problem post "Covid" but friendly service should always be #1. To top it off my Caesar salad had old, wilted lettuce, a lump of dressing in the middle, boring croutons, limited parmesan cheese and the "extra" $5 was for cold grilled chicken. We won't come back.More

The food is good but my experiences in the past resulted in no beers I preferred at the brewery. However, they has some reserved beer...i.e. Imperial Stout made with coconut....13 to 14% alcohol level....sold in amounts of 3 or 6 ounces. We ended up buying...three bottles. I only had one that night and that was allll I needed.More

Had some special beers from the rotating taps and great food. I like this place as does my wife. Visit each year during our visit to see daughter in Lompoc.

Jeremy guided us as we tried a number of barrel aged beers. Very cool. I really like the Parabajava 2016 (imperial stout w/ coffee).

Had the pretzel and then fish tacos. Both were very good. Tacos had some spice to them which was nice. Service was prompt and attentive. Prices are fair.

Was excited to check out this place. It was not super crowded, and we were seated. 10 minutes later, someone who was "helping out" and not a server, was unable to answer any questions about the beer. We eventually got a knowledgeable server and eventually...got our food. I would give it a B- for quality and everything was as expensive as LA. Plus there were literally children everywhere. No thank you.More

My husband and I go here at least once a week. The ahi tacos and french onion soup are delicious. The wide selection of beers are also fantastic.

We had a large (30+) dinner party for the wedding guests and one magnificent waiter handled all orders, requests with the assistance of several servers. Food came out in waves starting at one end of the table, so no guest felt slighted. Food was good,...quality craft beer selections, great wine selection and a very good value. No complaints! And that counts a lot for our group. Well done!More

We had such a nice time here. The server was so happy and pleasant which was nice to see after living in LA. The food was really good and the beers were good. We did a sampler of all their IPA's and followed it up...with our favorites. We enjoyed several Asian infused bites. It was refreshing. The atmosphere was nice and rustic. We walked from our hotel which was nice since we enjoyed so much beer. There is a bar and barrel room to enjoy also. The ONLY issue with this place was the MEN'S ROOM which was dirty and lacked regular cleaning, especially during busy times. I visited it 3 times during our 2.5-hour dinner and drinks and not once was it cleaned.More

Excellent fish tacos (for me) and pull pork sandwich (for my husband). We also split a Cesar salad, which was also good. Nice selection of good wines, especially for a brew pub. We aren't beer drinkers, but they had plenty of customers there enjoying their...brew.More

We were visiting the area and stopped by for a quick tour. We stopped in around 11:00 AM and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We decided to go back with a group in the evening and was very disappointed. The staff in the...evening seemed to be very distracted and service was extremely slow. Found that it was odd that we had to have separate tabs when ordering from this side and the brewery side. Overall ok visitMore

Very pleased to have a Firestone Walker brewery in Buellton. Service was great, e.g., they ended up servicing my table with a bartender for beers and waitress for food, so my questions could be answered in discussing beer offerings. They also provided me with some...complimentary samples. The food was very good and also accommodated my cole slaw substitution instead of fries. Variety of seating available from bar to bar area to more quiet seating. As usual, Firestone Walker has a great stable of beers. They are doing some interesting batches of barrel beers (even this type usually isn't my thing). I also have enjoyed their Luponic series. Looking forward to my next visit. Their Paso Robles and Venice locations are also very good.More

We had a professional meeting (American Chemical Society) to honor 50+ year members, respect the memory of a member who recently passed away, and enjoy lunch. The meeting room and facility were great, the food choices and the quality (seared ahi tuna, steak, chicken) were...excellent. The staff was very attentive. When leaving, the main restaurant and tasting area were packed with people. I told my wife this would be a great stop to eat on our trips to the central coast of California. Worth a stop---the gift shop looked very nice also although I did not check it out.More

Where to start? Every beer was top notch. The server Jose is knowledgeable, friendly and provided helpful suggestions. The beers varied between tarts and Firestone Walkers line up. This place is a new favorite.
