This place rocks - from the jukebox selection to the bar drinks to the food & then Jolene was great! She claimed to make the best Bloody Marys & she was right! Then, she claimed to make the best hamburgers & she was right again!...More
I didn't eat here, just had a drink -- wood floors, pool tables and tons of local color in the form of crusty fishermen, yoga farmers and man-bunned artisanal cheesemakers. A great cross-section of the colorful coastal communities in the area! A solidly unpretentious vibe,...More
For those Californians born in the previous millennium, the great American "road house" is a fast-disappearing small town bar & grill tradition which, gratefully, lives on in this small town's wonderful bar & grill. Now, as then, it's CASH ONLY! Their hearty menu usually has...More
On weekends a local chef whose name escapes me cooks here. The place is packed. The menu is hand written and posted each week . The food is consistently wonderful. Prices are very reasonable. Service is one person maybe 2 . No coddling here! Full...More
The locals recommended the Casino for dinner. This establishment uses local chefs to prepare unique nightly dishes. The evening we visited they were serving Asian Fusion. The reason for a rating of very good is, the bar had many flies.
Four of us ate there last Saturday night and it was delightful. The special was lamb gyros. The meat, tomatoes, chilis etc. were spiced just right and the bread freashly baked/fried. The baked vegatables were baked and served in a small iron fry pan and...More
Stopped in for a quick drink and bite to eat after hiking at Bodega Bay. This Bar/restaurant is better than you think as you drive by. You must stop. The burgers are great at lunch and several nights a week that have a first class...More
They have rotating chefs and surve excellent dishes. Not your average place as it is combined with a bar. Payment for drinks or food is kept separate. dishes change frequently and you should call ahead or check web-site for evening menu.
Fantastic food prepared by different local chefs in a quaint and local tavern with so much character. Bring cash because they don't accept credit cards. Worth the visit!
