Great food served by friendly people. Reasonably priced and no deconstructed, new age, hippy dippy menu.

Service was excellent, new owners. Food good. Parking is a problem, not much space, can be quite a walk to cafe. Love the place. Staff very friendly.

Coode Street cafe is my local and is literally around the corner. Family and friends are always more than happy to make the trip to Mt Lawley for brunch or lunch at Coode St. The food is always incredibly fresh and the menu is expansive. There's also a delicious range of cakes, pastries and take away treats and meals available.... More

The Coode street Cafe is located a short walk from the Maylands railway station, meaning that even if you don't own a car, you can get there. Nestled under several shady trees, it offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Food selection is not huge, but offers a beautifully served pies, accompanied by a selection of fresh salads for brunch or... More

Went for a catch up with a friend, service was impressive from the start and even with a change of tables part way through. I had the corn fritters with avocado smash, delicious and an energiser juice, so nice.

Used to eat here for breaky regularly 5 years ago. Was fresh tasty huge serves and value for money. Had lunch here recently and seemed as though we walked into a paint by numbers version of a cafe. Quiches sandwiches and cakes seemed to be purchased from a wholesaler or something. They were bland and we might as well have... More

The food is invariably good quality and tasty. The service is tops, the staff friendly and welcoming and the atmos congenial. Plenty of parking but the popularity means you cannot always park near the door. Highly recommend for a pleasant brekky or lunch or just a coffee and cake.

I went with my 93 year old grandma for our weekly lunch. The Ploughmans tappas was ~$18 and enormous. A normal/largish dinner plate densely stacked ~2 inches deep with stuff. It was easily enough for a decent lunch for two. We ordered it for my grandma because we assumed it'd be little bits of itty bitty things to pick at... More
