Read about Sage on TripAdvisor, on the off chance I messengered a table request and was delighted when we received the prompt response with our confirmation. Small restaurant, off the main drag. Nice atmosphere and super helpful staff. Food, well in a word, yummy. I...More

This restaurant is trying hard to serve good food in a small town where most other options are very basic. The food was tasty and nicely served. The service was pleasant, although very overstretched however the ambiance lacked character which detracted from the whole experience.

We went to Sage after reading reviews by other TripAdvisor participants. Our only addition would be that the food here is not just “excellent”, a “culinary delight” and “Best in Bishop” but this establishment would do well in any major city. We too had Cierra,...More

Sage is a hidden gem in Bishop, California. If you enjoy bistro style food and wine this is a must stop for dinner. Book ahead though because we watched them turn away anyone without a reservation. It can be misleading as it is in a...More

The food was excellent, the lamb shank, duck, creme brulee. The only thing that wasn't top notch was the glass of wine, which seemed as though it was recommended to me just to finish off the bottle. It was a half full glass, containing dregs....More

Very good combination of ingredients and passion for food. Coming from Europe this was the best place to have dinner. We enjoyed the salmon combined with mango and advocado and the strawberry/marshmellow dessert

Sage is a gem in the Owens Valley. Interesting menu is always tasty and well-presented. Comfortable room with friendly, attentive wait staff. Their osso bucco and creme brulee are legendary. You just can’t go wrong on this menu and this restaurant.

Sage has no bar at all. There is a beer and wine selection on their menu, but no mixed drinks. The selections are very limited and I have found some of the wine unavailable when I've had dinner. I suggest you bring a... More

I have no idea, didn't eat any. But their meat is local and it's all grass fed.
