The one cook works out of a tiny kitchen so don't expect your food in mere minutes. But it's worth the wait! Eggs benedict are fantastic, all from scratch. The home fried spuds were beyond fantastic. Omelets are great too. And for lunch they have a wide variety of burgers and sandwiches, all made to order. They are a bit... More

We all had breakfast, they were all very good to excellent. It was Sunday and they were so busy, but bent over backwards to offer great service! It is a basic café in décor and they have a small, but protected patio for nice days. Dog friendly outside.

My son and I spent the weekend in Mammoth and decided to eat breakfast in Bishop during our travel back to So Cal. We've been traveling through Bishop for many years and have always eaten along the main road through town. I was looking for something different and I saw a parking lot full of cars in front of the... More

Food is basic but plentiful and very tasty. Wait staff is friendly and efficient. We had the trip tip sandwich twice! Tender meat and very nice side salad.

We stopped here for a late lunch, arriving about 1250. We were the only customers at the time. This restaurant has self seating. We sat down and the waitress appeared with in a couple minutes. She said she would be right back to take our order. After about 10 minutes I tracked her down and said we were ready to... More

Breakfasts were large portions, hot and quick, tasty tasty. Had a mishap when a server dropped some food and they reduced our bill. Friendly people.

We had a large party at lunch time (7 people) and went here because of the great reviews on Trip Advisor. I ordered breakfast and it was really nothing special. Just average and not cheap. The waitress was very nice and lunch went ok. My Brother in Law's kids wanted to take him for breakfast here the following day, so... More

Fabulous food, we stopped on way to Death Valley had no clue this would be the best meal of trip. Sunday brunch full of freindly locals I had the fried egg sandwich on toasted french with cheese, tomatoes, and a touch of mayo. Country potatoes with diced onion and bell peppers. My other half is a burgers and frys kinda... More

We on our way out of town heading back home and we stopped in at the Village Cafe. Corned Beef Hash was 400 times better than the over rated Jacks in town. Fritatta my wife had were also wonderful. Cute old remodeled house that serves the best food around.

Just had breakfast here. I had bacon, eggs with buscuit and gravy and my husband had the french toast sandwich. No fancy decor but good portions & cleaned our plates. Finally a place that gives you a large orange juice when you order one!
