There are a lot of BBQ places along Hwy 395 but this has to be one of the best. The service is simple but efficient, the staff are friendly and helpful, the portions are large and the food is delicious. If you enjoy BBQ this...is a place you will want to try.More

You know how restaurants are often inconsistent? I've had the pleasure of stopping at Holy Smoke 3 or 4 times over the past few years and they always knock my socks plum off. I've sought the best BBQ in TN. TX, AL, GA, VA, KY...and elsewhere. I've had some very good BBQ. Holy Smoke ranks at the top. Pulled pork. Awesome! Ribs. Awesomer! Brisket. Meh Mac & Cheese. Off the flippin chain. I hate to leave a bad review. But, there's another BBQ place about 20 miles south with shiny smokers that's been recommended more than once so, I thought I'd give it a try even though I knew it would be next to impossible to beat Holy Smoke. What a mistake! I can't convey how disappointed me and my woman were that we passed Holy Smoke to give this other place a try yesterday. Not only was their product mediocre at best but, they were out of pulled pork and Coke. I mean, c'mon bro! Send someone to the Piggly Wiggly and pick up some cases of Coke! Anyway, I would gladly drive 50 miles out of my way to visit Holy Smoke and very much regret passing them yesterday. If Holy Smoke would ship their products, I'd place regular orders. I wish i lived closer to Bishop just so I could eat at Holy Smoke more often.More

Stopped here and got the beef brisket meal. Potato salad was great but corn bread was sub par. Brisket was nice and tender but was very sparse. For 21 bucks I should not be looking for food after leaving. I most likely will not eat...here again. But I did like the music so you got a extra star for that.More

Five of us had dinner on a recent trip to the Eastern Sierras. Despite the restrictions imposed by COVID-19, we had an enjoyable dinner and could eat inside. We had two sampler orders, full rack of ribs order, crisp salad and sides plus the corn...bread. We did not try the desserts. Limited choices for wine and beer, but they are served. Prices reasonable. There are four as I remember, different bottles of BBQ sauce on the tables with varying degrees of heat intensity. We had an early dinner to beat the rush.More

The line moved a little slow, but it gave us time to deliberate. We settled on the Sampler, to share, with Brisket, Tri Tip, and Pulled Pork. Upgraded one side to an amazingly delicious baked potato and baked mac n cheese. A good sized slab...of corn bread comes with. Everything was delicious. The pork had an authentic rich smoke flavor, the brisket was super tender and the tri tip was tender and full of flavor. The potato is well worth the $1.50 upgrade, but don't miss the mac n cheese! Corn bread was tasty too. Out door dining is a little tight, but there was well spaced room indoors too. BBQ sauce selection on the tables are all delicious, but should be wiped down after each diner. Tables should be sprayed too, but we carry our own bleach wipes. Parking is limited. One way in/ One way out, share the lane at the entrance. Looking forward to my next trip back to Bishop, Ribs are next on the agenda!More

We drove up this last winter in 2020 to Mammoth. This place had a line but looked big enough to not one to long to wait. It was worth it. We did not wait that long at all. Had the hog heaven sandwich with Mac...n Cheese. It was all so so good.More

Tasty options and friendly staff. The inside can feel too tight, especially when trying to keep socially distanced, but they had an outdoor section. We choose to take it to-go and it was still delicious.

Excellent pulled pork, ribs and chili. Chili has big chunks of meat. Beans are fantastic and Mac n cheese is to die for - Smokey with a bit of bacon. Can’t wait to come back!

This restaurant came up in my FindMeGF app... and did not disappoint. GF items on a board where you order, staff considerate of my need. The ribs were DELICIOUS! My husband enjoyed a brisket sandwich, and we both had sides. Come hungry!

You’ll have to ask them directly, but I suspect they might do so if the wedding is in the Bishop area.
