Absolutely love this pub from the delicious piping hot food to the warm friendly welcome,definitely worth a visit set in a beautiful location.

I booked our group Xmas dinner at the John Bunyan. The meal was wonderful the beer was great and the staff were wonderful!!!

John Bunyan pulled it off again food was excellence hot,and plenty of it 3 course and all great, real fire in the back ground If you missed it this year your the unlucky one Thanks Again to all the Staff

Went to the John Bunyan for a group Christmas dinner. Brilliant fun and very welcoming. Excellent food, service and Anthony, Faith and family are fantastic hosts . Looking forward to my next visit.

We came here on the recommendation of one of our group, The John Bunyan did not disappoint. The Beer was excellent, the food very good, nice atmosphere & dog friendly, we will visit again.

‘This has become one of our Sunday favourites and just gets better every time,great location and friendly staff the food is always piping hot and tasty,lovely open fire during the winter months. Would definitely recommend a visit.

A nice lunch & good beer in quiet surroundings, no loud music. Good value. Complemented them for very clean toilets. Large tarmcadam car park - no potholes or puddles.

We booked for Saturday lunch, we took our our dog for a walk first & returned to the pub & were met with a very warm & friendly welcome. Good pub food & plenty of treats for Brodie. We look forward to returning soon.

The John Bunyan is a beautiful family run country pub set in woodland on the edge of heartwood forest serving a wide range of food from ham egg and chips to local game home made specials and curries we also serve a large range of wine soft drinks and award winning beers.Also theres a log fire in the winter and large gardens for the summer months. We are also open all day at weekends in the summer months
