Stopped here after waiting an hour and then left another cafe cause the service was slowwwwww. I would recommend this place. Friendly staff, fast service, only took about 20 minutes to get our food and it was delicious!

The café is at the top of a canyon up a steep winding old road. A newer, wider, less steep, but longer road is your other choice. Great outside seating! Service was ok but very basic. We were served drinks, food, and the check. A hint to the wait young girl taking the orders - A little more effort on... More

I’ve eaten lunch here several times, and have always enjoyed the food, and the view from the front deck. On my latest visit I had the BBQ chicken sandwich and my husband had the Turkey and cranberry sandwich. I opted for the fries, while my husband had the homemade chips. I tried one of the chips, and although the fries... More

We came upon this little cafe driving up the mountain on the way to Yosemite. The views are spectacular, the service was excellent and the food was really good. The day was beautiful and we enjoyed eating outside with the amazing views. Would definitely recommend stopping here.

Convenient, good food, friendly staff, enjoying lunch in the afternoon sun. Thats our idea of a great lunch. I feel like this little cafe has been there forever. We make 3 trips a year to Yosemite and look forward to stopping here for our lunch stop. It has a very interesting history. This is a very popular place in the... More

Burgers to steak with onion rings, beer , and wine. We cleaned our plates and ate outside on the terrace.

Get there for sunset and sit outside. Outstanding. Food was very good. Ribs meaty and tender. Service attentive.

We stopped here for lunch on our road trip from San Francisco to Yosemite. Despite the 4 hour ride, there are few places to stop in between for a bite. This restaurant is located at the top of Old Priest Grade, a very steep and winding road through the mountains about 45 minutes from the entrance to Yosemite. We sat... More

Most reviews here are for the diner/cafe (which is very good), but this place is also a motel of sorts: there are several cabins on location and they are way better than I expected. My cabin had a wall-to-wall carpet (clean!), there was a large (queen?) bed and another single bed in a small side room (no door) that also... More

The café was recommended to us by the receptionist at the hotel we were staying and we were not disappointed. We had to rush a little as she told us that they stop serving at around 8pm. We arrived at 7:50pm and were received warmly by the lovely couple who own the place. What a fascinating place, steeped in history... More
