This restaurant was directly across the street from where we were staying in Big Bear, so with all the snow on the road, all we had to do is pray and cross the street! It just happened to be a Tuesday and the waiter, Carlos, announced that their tacos were 99 cents each! in 2017? We were leery so we... More

Our party of 8 really enjoyed this dinner. Good menu, plenty of choices, and we even ordered the 7lb burrito special. Plenty of leftovers! Service was quick after we got a table.

Love this restaurant in Big Bear. It has a cozy atmosphere, great margaritas and food, and since it's not in The Village, tends to have shorter waits. They even brought out a cake for a surprise birthday party for one of my best friends (I brought in the cake) and sang an enthusiastic song for her. Lovely people and one... More

Been here a couple times. The food is good but I love the carne asada burrito with verde sauce. It is great! So yummy and chips and salsa are very good as well.

9-2016 When the plate is put into a microwave to melt the cheese it fries the edges before the center heats, so the beans and other food get overcooked. Had: Burrito Colorado- heated microwave, tasted like it was from a can. Taquitos- beef were preferable, chicken not so good Flauta combination- again beef preferable Margaritas- GIANT glasses, but the ice... More

Although the restaurant is very charming with lovely Mexican traditional interior, murals on the walls and a nice outdoor patio sitting, the food is not what would you aspect from a family run restaurant. It's terrible! It tasted and looked like it came out of a can. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone who has some taste buds... More

I had the chimi, my wife the tamales. Both dishes were flavorless. Disappointing for a Mexican restaurant. The beef inside the chimi was nothing more than a roast. I doubt it was seasoned at all. Same for the chicken in the tamales. $16 for the shrimp cocktail appetizer had only 5 small shrimp but a nice mild taste. The house... More
