I don't know much about Japanese food and I'm not always crazy about Asian cuisines, but this was fun. The specialty is like fondue--dipping vegetables, meats, other options in boiling pot above an in-table flame. Very healthful foods, simple and easy to cook. Menu also includes tempura, sushi and a limited number of other Japanese entrees. Waitstaff was very friendly... More

I love this place is cheap and fun. I love the taste of the meat on shabu shabu. Rolls are not perfect but is a good place for an everyday eating .

Absolutely amazing! Our waitress worked her butt off and made sure any questions we had we answered. The sushi was great! And you get a good portion of food for a decent price! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Trendy Restaurant! A great experience! Delicious food! We had a large party, from retiree, to toddler, and the food and the atmosphere was enjoyed by all! Tame or Super Hot and Spicy, you absolutely cannot go wrong here! Want Noodles? They got all the noodles, and every type!

“Swish, swish” is what shabu, shabu means translated to English from Japanese. This is a very healthy and delicious way to share a meal with friends cooking tabletop. A pot of broth boils in front of diners and platters of meat, vegetables, and noodles arrive. Everyone dips and swishes using chopsticks. Several sauces and mustards are delivered. Our party of... We chose food from the small plates menu and ordered ala carte not AYCE. Some of the dishes were excellent including the soft shell crab, the seaweed salad, the fried onions. The rest was mediocre at best -- shumai, fried oysters, unagi sushi roll and the miso soup. The sushi roll had very little unagi ( eel) in it, the... More

We would not recommend this place at all. We've tried to visit a few times, always thinking perhaps they hire poor waiters for cheap -- which sometimes happens around here in California. However, this is not the case, it's the greed of the owners who try to take advantage of the All you can eat situation AYCE -- and give... More

We went for the Shabu Shabu but were disappointed with it-the slices of meat were way too thin and thus they had almost no flavor. Veggies were good but overall the dish was disappointing. We also ordered several rolls and they were excellent. Had the crunchy shrimp roll, the ZAbu special roll and a tuna avocado roll, all were fresh,... More

Don't think about ordering what's on the menu out front. Sashimi? I think not. Sushi? Only rolls. Response to why the menu is different? Uh...the manager is in China. 'Nuff said.
