Good food

Nice place, authentic dishes. Good place to learn about traditional seto food. Kids liked the playground.

Family-friendly restaurant

We visited the Tsaimaja thanks to a family event. There were 10 kids and they had lots of fun outside: running and playing on the playground. So, all grown-ups could relax and enjoy the food. The food was very tasty and natural.

Simple good food

Nice country place, with good simple food. It is possible to pay with card. It was so nice that we stayed longer than expected.

Great place for local traditional food

Great traditional environment and excellent variety of local traditional food. Very nice place to eat and get to know about Seto traditions. I had heard about Seto Tsäimaja but had never visited it. Knowing a little about Seto people and their traditions, I was more...or less prepared and it was a great experience.More

Nice and low price good food

Old style wood house with local food and drinks for low price and good service with wonderfull atmosfere.

Ethnic place to eat

It is a very nice and authentic place to eat. Personnel speaks local language, what is very cool. Food is simple and tasty. Price is good.

Good food and homey environment.

It is very nice place to eat. In summertime you can it in the house or on the terrace. The menu is in seto language, but the staff is helpful and can translate them. We could also try handmade ice-cream/smoothie, what was very good. The...price range was ok. Outside of the Tsaimaja is playground for children. And you don't have to go to museum to eat there.More

Great food, nice prices, beautiful place

Super good meat and pancakes. Prices are also really cheap. Pancakes costs 2€, proper meal is Pancakes5€. Super beautiful place 🙏

COLD SOUP YUMMM

Such a cool place! Filled with Estonians - small menu but great prices! I was a little weirded out to see COLD SOUP- RED COLD SOUP- WHITE On the menu but wowwww so delicious Worth the stop!!!

Local folklore, local food

We combined our meal with listening to the songs performed in Seto by a folklore choir. The lunch was specific. We had baked meet accompanied by a specific meal: a mixture of mashed potato, pumpkin and carrot. It had very specific taste but was nice.

Nice cafe, service could be better

It is a lovely place and I loved the fact that the menu was in Seto language and staff wears national clothes but .. it looked like all the waiters had a bad day because all of them looked like they are so tired of...people and could not wait until they decide what to eat, pay and go away.More

Good and interesting local food

There yopu can find the menu with local seto dialect, which even estonians can't pronounce. The food is delicious. The staff is in national costumes. The interior is nice and interesting. Good place to go to eat.

Worth to visit but do not wait taste surprises

If you are in Varska, go the for lunch or light dinner, may be after Varska Spa, as we did. Nice place especially if you can sit outside (summer). Steak is good but potion is not big, normal but not big. Pancakes are very nice....Prices are ok, 4..7eur.More

Superb

You just have to try everything on the menu, as it is so different (good different). Food is really superb and place is really amazing.
