A friend recommended this place to me. I was on the way to Palm Springs. A little shack right in front of the Morongo Reservation. I got the taco platter with the "Giant" steak taco. Comes with beans and rice. And onions, cilantro, cheese, guacamole and some other great sauce. Soooooo good. The tortilla was homemade. The "hot" salsa was... More

I've been visiting this stand for well north of a decade. You won't find better home made Mexican food anyplace in the US. Spectacular burritos, quesadillas, and tacos on corn or flour quesadillas, all good, whether you get them veggie, or with steak or chicken. Some days when I am in the desert I will have lunch and dinner here!... More

Never miss a chance to stop here if headed to the outlets at Cabazon, or to Palm Desert/Springs).... fresh and authentic, friendly, and fast.... love the taco plate, but don't miss out on the simple food like the bean and cheese burrito or quesadilla... nothing but good food here...

When people talk about "a little hole in the wall" restaurant, this might be it. They only do a few dishes here but they do them well. I had a Beef Burrito that was a 7 on my 10 point scale. The taste was good but there was more rice and less beans. I like it the other way around.... More

Some of the freshest Taco Stand style food you can find, at the end of a outlet strip mall. U always stop here to of from Palm Springs and it's always worth the stop. The chili Verde is savory and delicious either on tacos or in in a burrito and steak taco are also excellent. Remember, this is a road... More

After a disappointing shopping trip at the nearby outlet mall, we chanced upon this place on our way back to the highway. It's very casual, order at the window and wait for your order to be prepared. We had very nice tacos here. One of the best in a long time. Maybe a bit expensive for what it is, but... More

We always have to make a stop at Crazy Coyote Tacos whenever we go to Palm Springs. Homemade tortillas and delicious fillings. The beans are really spicy and food too.

The Crazy Coyote has a ton of low-key atmosphere. We ate very good and filling regular sized tacos for $3.25 each. Located across the street from the west exit of Cabazon Factory Outlet Mall.

Having read a couple of reviews, no better way to judge than try yourself, right? Well, this little side trip down the mountain from our cabin in Idyllwild to The Crazy Coyote was certainly worth it, even at 11:15am or so, there was a little line of 3 people Totally worth the few minutes wait, my soft flour taco was... This little road-side taco stand is just outside the Morongo reservation. Its hot in the summer, but they do provide a fine water mist in the outside dining area. We eat here frequently and our favorites are the Chile verde burrito and meat nachos. I had a giant steak taco today and was smacked upside the head with some serious... More
