A song sung in the Roman Forum. But the Mad Greek has it on a signboard outside the restaurant and it fits - there is 'something for everyone.' If the featured food is 'Greek" to you, don't worry - barbecue and Tex-Mex choices are plentiful. And the ice cream! Must have been thirty or so milkshake flavors alone (I was... More

Fantastic Gyro and Saganaki! They had a real meat spit that they carved! Great yogurt and cucumber sauce!

I only stopped here because I had seen it on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. I was kind of bummed that there wasn't any pictures of Guy Fieri. We ordered Gyros. They were the best that I have ever had. The cucumber sauce on them was so yummy!

We had been told that The Mad Greek had amazing food. After waiting for 20 minutes for our to-go order and that only after my husband called out over the waiting area if anyone else had been waiting for 20 minutes for their food, we received a delicious steak Gyro. It was truly delicious but we found the service wanting.

The first time you eat here, you're trying to get over your amazement that this place even exists in Baker, CA. It's trippy, for sure. You have your meal and leave, and say, "well, that was interesting." The second time you eat here, you are quickly through the ordering process, then you sit at a recently vacated table that hasn't... More

The service was slow so we thought that the food would be great (hungry and all) but the gyros were dissapointing and dry. Nevertheless the fries were worth stopping!

In the middle of nowhere we went for lunch after seeing an add that gave truckers discount. It was a very good experience. Topped all our expectations. Food was really good. The surroundings kitch but it was somehow what it should be. Try the strawberry shake and the omelet. The fries is the best we have had in the us... More
