The choice of this restaurant was based on the recommendation of an unknown local man and it was one of the best decision we've done on our travel around Spain. If you search for an amazing sea food and fish experience, you should definitely go there. For a very affordable price (10 EUR) you get a huge menu (starter, main... More

This restaurant is a very short walk up the hill, tucked behind the main strip of shops and cafes. Jose the chef makes exceptional food for excellent value, and on request provided a beautiful vegan meal. It was a refreshing change from the standard meat and fish menu and the food was fresh and delicious. The town is quieter in... More

Looked for this restaurant after reading reviews on here and wasn't disappointed. It is slightly away from the front so you have to find it but it's definitely worth it. The food was lovely and plentiful (truly!). Jose, the chef and owner, is very friendly and helps you find something from the menu you will like. I'm vegetarian and he... More

14 of us arrived at 8pm, unannounced has we couldn't find contact details to book. Jose, the chef looked pretty flustered but welcomed us and apologised that he was a little behind with prep after a very busy afternoon. We were all thrilled to find we could order the Deal of the Day, 3 courses plus half a bottle of... More

I stumbled upon this restaurant while exploring Baiona, and couldn't have been more surprised or pleased - while it is a block off main street, it served one of the best meals I had on my entire trip to Europe. The head chef spoke perfect english, and walked through the entire menu, which was all fresh as of that day... More

We had a wonderful meal for 6 at this lovely friendly restaurant. While the ingredients were similar to all the other Galician restaurants the preparations were slightly more interesting and the cooking was superb. Jose is a fantastic host/chef with perfect English who was happy to explain the menu. We particularly liked the mushrooms with iberico ham, the goats cheese... More

Good restaurants can be hard to find at a new destination, so on our arrival in Baiona last Summer (2014), we asked other visiting yachtsmen for their recommendations. The same name kept coming up - Restaurant 'Novos Aires'. The consistently good reports and enthusiasm for this place sounded almost too good to be true, so we had to give it... More
