The mason is set by a charming coastal little town. Typically traditional with a sailor kind of touch, this place sets you up to a relaxing and bountiful dinner. Cherveza and jambon iberico's quality are up to the expectations.

This restaurant was recommended to us by Robert at the Hotel Arce which is only a few yards away and we enjoyed it so much that we went back the following evening. The atmosphere is lively but relaxed and the restaurant is very popular with the local residents and is already filling up by 20:15 -20:30. The menu is varied... More

Enjoyed our visit here. Friendly staff. Good choice on the menu. In the spirit of adventure I ordered Gulla del norte though I was not sure what it was. It was shredded fish a bit like spaghetti. Unusual but it tasted good and the prawns it came with were good too. Our waitress explained that she had brought us a... More

Despite our very limited Spanish, the waitress helped us find what we wanted. We had smoked cod, anchioves, salad and some Estrella1

Excellent food, great atmosphere however they could do with extra staff to cope during peak times. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

We loved the experience of eating at this restaurant. The atmosphere is great and it gets busier as the evening progresses, so it's a good idea to arrive by 8 pm if you can. The welcome is friendly when you arrive and our waiter was so cheerful and smiley. Most of the customers seemed to be Spanish when we were... More

We paid a visit to this lovely restaurant in August of this year. Two families, with kids, 8 of us in total. Since we were staying just across the border in Portugal, we totally forgot the time difference between Spain and Portugal and arrived (very) late for lunch. We only found out later, but even though we were in fact... More

If you want to sample genuine Galician hospitality in the Baiona area, I heartily recommend you go down to Fidalgo in Sabaris. The owner and all the staff could not make you feel more welcome. This is a meson (a kind of tavern) so no pretence at sophistication. The oak barrels, stone walls and ceiling hung legs of ham provide... More

The owner of this place truly cares about the satisfaction of each and every one of his customers. He made sure we were satisfied, he ordered the house specials for us, and he described in great detail the preparation of his meals. This place has above average prices that are well worth it for the quality food and service you... More
