Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just out of the main square, 50 yards up the street. Just had drinks, managed to get a table outside, plenty of locals in and definitely less of a tourist trap than the bars in the square. Slightly lower prices than the majority of bars...in the square. Would recommend.More

Amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, nice environment too. Cannelones, Albondigas and Frito Mallorquin are top notch. Really recommended!

We enjoyed our tapas lunch today very much. The waiter and waitress were kind and funny, joking around with locals and tourists alike, and fast in taking orders. The meatballs, trumpets and Russian salad were lovely and very tasteful.

Ate here and chose a range of tapas. The menu was very very basic with a very small choice of dishes. Sorry to say but better tapas can be found in the square.

Soller is a bit over-run with tourists and this is a nice escape. Marble table tops and high ceilings surround a spacious dining area. We went for Tapas. It was hearty local food. Patatas bravas had a great sauce, calamari was fine but we particularly...enjoyed the meatballs and the aubergines with potato and tomato and the prices are very modest.More

My wife and I went for a light lunch while visiting Sóller. The food was very good and definitely worth 5 stars considering the price and location. It’s right on the tram lines so you can watch that go passed while you eat which is...nice. There was a good atmosphere with a small band playing outside which made the experience that bit nicer. Worth a visitMore

We stopped by for a couple of beers in the shade. Our waiter, who was at the end of his shift, didn't seem too pleased to see us. Although he was OK with his mates. A local bar for local people.

Wonderful location in a busy pedestrian street in the heart of beautiful Soller. The cafe’s interior doesn’t seem to have been touched since the fifties and consequently could be amazing. Sadly, probably because of its location it doesn’t have to try hard and it doesn’t!...The waiter who looked after us could not have been less interested in us. Dead atmosphere. It could be wonderful if run by someone with a little imagination and care. Great coffee though!More

Hot and tired after the ferrocarril ride from Palma we decided to stop at the first place we saw offering a menu of the day as we've had some lovely meals over the years this way. We were not disappointed and the white wine was...very cold and very drinkable.More

Lunch with family of four, waiter did not speak a word of English or any other language but Spanish, which I took as a good sign. We let him choose the tapas, which were basic but good and good value.

Stopped here on several different occasions for fantastic coffee before heading off walking. Can't comment on the food (other than the croissants and cake which were lovely). If you're looking for an authentic locals bar with great coffee, look no further.

Had mixed tapas and spanish omlet. Served lukewarm. The cuttel fish hidden in the midst of oily tapas was good.

The worst of 4 tapas places we tried in Soller. We visited twice. The first time was ok in that the food was served hot, albeit a little greasy. The waitress was pleasant enough and because there were 9 of us we considered the final...bill to be a crucial factor, and as the prices are reasonable so we went back a second time and wished we hadn't. The food was lukewarm at best. The staple spicy spanish sausage served with all tapas was absent, and worst of all when chewing on some food I found 3 olive stones! They didn't have flesh on - they were purely olive stones. The mind boggles! I felt disgusted. We should have walked out there and then without paying. BUT being the polite British tourists that we are, we showed our displeasure by paying but leaving no tip. Yuck, yuck, yuck! My stomach does somersaults just thinking about it!More
