Arrived to have dinner at 6.30, to be told the kitchen is closed. Website states food til 8.30. Used to be a go-to venue hopefully they can pull this back. A real shame
Rang to book a table for food for 4 people and was told there was no need to book as it was a walk-in service, we arrived at about 7pm and were told by one lady that it would be 1 hour wait for a...table and an additional half hour on top of that for food, we said that would be ok as we all could get a drink from the bar, she asked us to wait at the door, which we did for about 10 minutes, the lady then came back and told us there was no food!!, we asked to speak to the manager as this was the second time in as many weeks that we couldn’t get food here, the lady went away and we were left standing for another 10 minutes at the door, the manager was standing at the bar and kept looking over our way but still kept us waiting. He finally approached us and told us they had no food and we could not get a table, when we asked why, we were told they had staff issues….. yet they had a party of 100 people in the function room and numerous other customers eating in the bar area… In the past we had communion and confirmation lunches here and would be regular customers, unfortunately our experience last Saturday evening we will never visit the Bailey again as there are lots more friendlier cafe/ bars in the town that we could visit, in fact that evening we phoned via vineto at short notice and secured a table….More
I was in for lunch yesterday and had the best Chicken burger ever . crispy crunchy chicken, to die for . i didn't get the name of the waiter but really friendly and great service
Ordered 2 lasagna and chips Was extremely shocked to find mine stone cold inside not just warm but cold It had hot melted cheese on top and lukewarm around the edges inside was plain COLD I call a waiter who apologised took my dish away...and unfortunately came back with another one I would liked to be asked if i wanted another one as it had turned my stomach . The second one was hot but i only ate about 5 bites i was turned off my dinner and i was so looking forward to having a enjoyable dinner out. Especially after driving in such wet and windy conditions to get there I went to pay the bill and im almost sure it was a female manager who charged me full price and said i hope you enjoyed your meal to which i replied no i didn't like being served a cold dinner Not much response back OHH i didnt know.. I most definitely won't be back Before i had booked someone said not to go and recommend elsewhere but i said not at all i ring and book a table How wrong was iMore

Went for lunch here today. Very poor food. 7 people, all of the food arrived at different times, 5 mins if not more apart. The food was not hot, loaded chips were sent back, new plate were just as cold. The staff are friendly. We...werent asked once if the food was ok.More
Met friends for lunch....awful service...constantly asking waiting staff for items that were forgotten ie milk for tea ...tea served in a cup without a handle....no eye contact from staff ,having to shout to get attention....food laced with salt including the chips....
We were not welcomed upon our arrival yesterday and the service overall was very cold. When we did get the menus, their selection of drinks was very limited. The drinks we initially wanted were not available. When we placed our drinks order, we received the...wrong drinks (2 rum & cokes instead of 1 rum & coke and 1 coke). We replaced the order and thought we had received the correct order. However it was whiskey, not rum. Throughout all this, we waited for an additional 40 mins and never was asked to place a food order while others around us who just arrived had done so within minutes. We quickly paid for our wrong drinks and left. We were very dissatisfied with the way we were treated and would not recommend this place to anyone. Luckily we were able to have a lovely meal outdoors in an establishment just down the road who saved our night!More
We tried the new Takeaway Menu at The Bailey tonight and it was the excellent. We had heard lots of great reviews about the burgers there and they didn’t disappoint! They were by far the best burgers we have tried. Really tasty and fresh! Have...eaten in there several times before and it has always been excellent, great for kids too. Warm, friendly staff and top class food!More
