Homemade soup is absolutely fabulous that is a 5 star rating on its own.
I had the surf and turf which advertised as Steak and prawns unfortunately I was disappointed when it arrived as it was shrimp not prawns and to me there's a huge difference. The steak itself was absolutely delicious meat was extremely tender and was cooked as requested medium rare.
My partner had the pan fried fish which he found delicious.
Staff are friendly and attentive.

Handy location with large selection of choice on the menu. Highly recommend the sizzling burger. Meals are reasonably priced.

I never forget to visit Ballycarney inn , its a pure joy to be there whenever i visit there, Chef is always on the bar when he is not busy, Bar lady is just a delight to speak to.

Stopped off for lunch today . Busy place but lots of parking . Lovely food with generous portions , staff efficient but not over friendly . Clean and tidy .

we love going here , i always go for the steak cause it is so tasty , good portion sizes ,my family had beef ,lamb ,chicken and the burger, everything is lovely ,service is great, making customers feel so welcome ,and we keep going back .

Frinedly staff and nice looking place inside as it has been done up, but food was extremely disappointing to say the least! Portion sizes are not small but quality and presentation leaves a lot to be desired. We had bacon and cabbage and beef and both were equally bad as the bacon was so fatty, with tastless cabbage and beef was chewy and not at all what you'd expect for roast beef. Also deserts included in a bit of a joke as i got fresh fruit salad with brown coloured apples and very unappetising packet mirangue! i had heard good reports so not sure if we hit a bad day but would not recommend at all!

Very friendly staff. Terrible food in huge portions. Had definitely come out of a microwave and on to our plates. The chewiest chicken I have ever chewed. Gravy compliments of Bisto. Our advice: don't believe the other reviews :(

Drove there From enniscorthy to eat something different for a change.
The food was ok an at a fair price but it's not really exciting.
Anyway when coming by and being hungry stop there and get good food at a fair price.

Lovely delicious food, some was a bit watered down but otherwise no problems, great value for money! The atmosphere is great near the bar! Good drinks and an extremely unique ceiling to look at! See you next time
