I had booked this restaurant for lunch on a trip from Dublin to Cork. Gary was very kind and held the table for us ( 6 people) as we were delayed on our journey due to traffic and bad weather. We got a lovely welcome when we arrived and it is a beautiful quaint restaurant. The ladies serving were so pleasant and nothing was a problem. My son ordered the pancakes and even though it was past breakfast time this was accomodated and they were delicious by all accounts!
Everyone enjoyed their lunch and I would highly reccomend a visit to Ryans Daughter restaurant. The side salad was delicious and the coleslaw so fresh and tasty. Thanks to all!

Ryan's Daughter is a culinary gem that I visit frequently. The food is exceptional, offering a homey, delicious experience from breakfast through dinner. Each meal feels like a comforting, home-cooked feast. The ambiance is magical, and the staff is outstanding, always ensuring every detail is perfect. I cannot praise and endorse this place enough.
Special mention to Ger, and Garry, who are fantastic hosts. They go above and beyond to ensure everything is top-notch. If you're looking for an excellent dining experience, Ryan's Daughter is the place to be. signed Martin

Good, I had bacon & cabbage, hubby had roast chicken . I just had 2 small slices of bacon which I thought was a bit miserable . It was nearly 2 o clock so I suppose items were getting g sparse. I asked for white sauce on side but inedible , light & lumpy. Veg & potatoes were fine and hubby said his was good. For the reviews I thought it woukd be better. I did mention to young girl re white sauce but she just smiled. I would try again another time later in the year maybe

My friend and I had the most delicious lunch today. The girl serving us was absolutely lovely and friendly. The setting is so homely. I had the fish pie and my friend the cabbage and bacon..both plates cleared. A beautiful rhubarb crumble and trifle to follow was a delicious end to the meal. We would highly recommend it.

Honest to good simple flavorsome hame cooked Irish food. We had sandwiches, salads, fries, and tones of amazing homemade deserts. Everything was top class and great value.

I eat here on a regular basis. The restaurant is Really querky and tastefully decorated. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious especially the lasagne. The desserts are homemade and mouthwatering. Don't just take my word for it check it out yoursekf

Very nice home cooking. Had lovely dinner here. Such a great selection on menu. Food puping hot and three veg which I loved. Lasagna and cottage pie delicious. Great rice pudding too. Very nice staff. Nice home cooking decent portions not fine dining. Loved the decor as well

Country kitchen decor. All the locals go there and know each other. I can see why! Delicious home cooked style meals with generous portions. I felt like I was in my Aunties dining room. Definitely worth the visit to Thurles just for this!!

We arrived here for breakfast after taking a recommendation from someone on the street when I looked for somewhere good to eat for breakfast. It was very good, with very friendly staff and a lovely, very unique little cafe. Highly recommend.

With this awful covid pandemic we haven't been able to visit our most favorite Restaurant/B&B's in Tipperary for over a year now. But expectations are that travel restrictions will be eased from 10th June, just in time for me to celebrate Fathers Day with a trip down the country and check in with my friends at Ryans Daughter in Thurles. Can't wait... lovely rooms, lovely food, and extremely nice people.

Tasty food, omlette had slightly too much salt on it if I was to nitpick but overall great. Service was super, very attention and welcoming to a loud 2 year old!! Ha! Would stop off again on our next drive from Dublin -> Cork or vice versa!
