Delicious lunch in a cosy setting! Perfect break between Dublin and Cork. A charming place with very kind hosts. We’ll be back!
Hi Kristine, Big thanks for your lovely review. Delighted to have lovely people visit our restaurant. Looking forward to seeing you both again soon. Gary
I had booked this restaurant for lunch on a trip from Dublin to Cork. Gary was very kind and held the table for us ( 6 people) as we were delayed on our journey due to traffic and bad weather. We got a lovely welcome...when we arrived and it is a beautiful quaint restaurant. The ladies serving were so pleasant and nothing was a problem. My son ordered the pancakes and even though it was past breakfast time this was accomodated and they were delicious by all accounts! Everyone enjoyed their lunch and I would highly reccomend a visit to Ryans Daughter restaurant. The side salad was delicious and the coleslaw so fresh and tasty. Thanks to all!More

With this awful covid pandemic we haven't been able to visit our most favorite Restaurant/B&B's in Tipperary for over a year now. But expectations are that travel restrictions will be eased from 10th June, just in time for me to celebrate Fathers Day with a...trip down the country and check in with my friends at Ryans Daughter in Thurles. Can't wait... lovely rooms, lovely food, and extremely nice people.More

Delicious lunch in a well kept secret in a little town. Worth the stop and drive out of your way. A local recommended it to us and she did us well. Food was homemade, fresh and delicious.
Hi Colleen , Big thanks for your lovely words . We are very lucky to have great customers visit our restaurant , hope to see you again soon. Gary
We were late getting into Thurles after a five hour drive from north of the border and were eager to find a place to stay the night. There's not many B&B's that will let you through the door so late in the evening unless you've...booked in advance but "Ryan's Daughter Restaurant and B&B" didn't seem to mind in the least our rapping on their door at 10 o'clock at night. Directions from a friendly local had led us to this "little gem" in O'Donovan Rossa Street just off the main square of the town. On checking in, we were led upstairs to our double room with en suite, television, tea making facilities and, as we were to discover soon after, a supremely comfortable, crisp white sheeted, double bed. All standard fare you may say, but the "humble money" we had just handed over downstairs led us to think we were settling for something a little less comfortable. Happily as it turned out, that wasn't the case and this establishment just offered exceptional value for money. A hearty breakfast was served next morning in the restaurant by friendly and smiling staff who advised us on the most scenic route to follow as we left to continue our onward journey. As we drove out of Thurles we couldn't help thinking how lucky we were to have found the best person to ask, for the best place to stay, at the best price in town. A lucky find indeed!More

Just came back from a lovely Easter weekend in Thurles. It was our first time in Ireland for a family Christening and our stay here was very friendly & welcoming from the start. Lovely quaint cosy b&b, the beds are SOOO COMFY!! It is in...the ideal place very central to everything and just round the corner from the main square with lots going on! James was so accomodating, just can't do any more for you. Coming in especially for us just for our breakfast! 10/10 for breakfast, he remembered the next day where we sat and our drinks where there waiting when we come down! Highly recommended Ryan's daughter! We definitely will be coming back again. Thank you! Kev, Bev, David & Kelsey.More
