This restaurant is located on the river banks and provides Indian style relaxed seating. The food quality is great too. You can lounge on cotton mattresses and have some nice food. The customers are mostly non-Indians though. They were very finicky about our kids running...More

Food was Nice. Good variety also. Service was slow. But Staff was nice with us. The real plus in this place is the ambience. It's a nice cozy place. Although it is not fit for family with kids as people were smoking right next to...More

Laughing Buddha is on the bank of the Tungabhadra. It's a chilled out place (like every other in Hampi) but has good food and music. Service everywhere in Hmapi is a bit laid back but it was pretty good here in comparison.

We came to this cafe to relax after visiting the 575 steps Anjaneri Hill temple. The location couldnt be better - pristine surrounding, right next to the tungabhadra river overlooking the Vuripaksha temple. The calm atmosphere along with relaxing music make this an excellent place...More

You seem to find this cafe in most articles about Hampi. Located across the river towards the " hippie" side. There are multiple restaurants and cafes lined up on the other side, but Laughing Buddha is away from the hustle and located next to the...More

Great views across the river, a good menu and good food. This place has comfy mattresses on the floor making it an ideal place to chill out and relax. Food quality and service good. We went back twice during our 3 days in Hampi.

We visited this place purely based on the reviews. Later realized, most of the good reviews were from the foreigners. Any which ways, I and my friends personally found this place lacking good food, good service and good mood. Overpriced for the kind of food...More
