Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is a convenience store/Cafe somewhere between Mount Magazine and Paris, Arkansas. We were there mid week and the very limited menu was written on the board above the register. Chicken was large portioned but just frozen and deep fried. The Reuben sandwich was...good. We were told that breakfast would only be served on weekends. We ordered and paid at the counter.More

We stopped in the area to visit Mt. Magazine on the way home from Texas. We had a long day and this was a nice place to relax. This is not a fancy place but the food is good, and the staff is pleasant to...visit with. I have no problems with recommending this place.More

What a surprise, great restaurant. Stopped for a valentines dinner. The special was steak, baked potato, and two brownies with icecream. We added a side salad. Service and food was great. You just can't beat this place

Good food and service. Lots of Post wine sold at this location. Clean restrooms. Variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the coolers.

My husband and I visited Cove Creek this evening and were pleasantly surprised! We both had steak and it was the best steak I have ever eaten! It was grilled and they were both cooked exactly how we asked and very tender. The whole meal...was delicious. The service was friendly and quick. They offered WiFi which is hard to get consistently on the mountain. Many locals were eating there. We will most definitely be back!More

If there's any doubt order a cheeseburger. There's not many places that can rival their burger and fries

We stopped here on the way up to Mount Magazine. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. In fact we returned for breakfast the next day and even had them pack up sandwiches for our drive.

My husband and I stopped by here to grab some drinks/snacks to take back to Mt. Magazine Lodge where we were staying. When we saw the kitchen and smelled what was cooking, we decided to order some food to go. The amount of care and...attention to detail put into our order was not something you'd typically find in a convenience store setting. The sweet lady (wish I'd caught her name) took extra steps, such as letting me know she'd added another piece of cheese to the mushroom swiss burger I ordered when the first piece melted right into the burger, even offered to add some brown gravy to it if I wanted, used toothpicks to not only keep the sandwiches intact, but keep the Styrofoam containers fastened to one another so they wouldn't shift on the way home, and made sure to bag the rest of our goods carefully, as to prevent anything from melting or being crushed by another item. And as for the food itself... the burger was so good! Not too salty, not too greasy, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, and my husband's club sandwich was hearty and delicious as well. We hope to stop by once more before heading back home!More

We just stopped for gas and did not eat at the restaurant. Man, the prices for gas are really high. Get your gas elsewhere else if you can. Of course the high prices may be the result of it's remote location and they have to...pay a lot for gas too.More

This convenience store/restaurant combo is a great stop on your way to Mount Magazine state park. We enjoyed the made to order breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast and hubby couldn't resist the homemade chocolate gravy and biscuits. It was delicious!

First time eating here, had breakfast. 2 eggs, hash browns, sausage and a biscuit. I like the smackers strawberry jam better than the strawberry jelly, but just my opinion.
