Stopped in on 4/15 for a late lunch. Was pleasantly surprised with the food. The service was top notch. Owners are super friendly. Can't wait to go back again soon.

Fantasic BBQ and service!

We chose this restaurant because we were visiting the area and hadn’t had BBQ yet. There aren’t a ton of restaurants to choose from in Paris (which is at the north base of Mount Magazine where we were staying). We were so happy we went!...This is a family run place, and they were sooo nice. The food was to die for. Our group of 4 had ribs, chicken, pork, and a topped baked potato. Sides included tater salad (potato salad), smoked beans, green beens and mac n cheese. Everything was hot, delicious and fall off the bone delicious. Service was FAST! The decor was super cute and the bathrooms were very clean. Highly recommend! As always, in this stupid covid world, call ahead to be sure they will be open when you go!!More

Our group of 30 had to go somewhere else. No show no call.

Wow. We called over a month in advance as we had people coming from all over the Midwest to attend a local event. I got there 30 minutes early and they were closed. I later found out they were closed both Friday and Saturday (our...night). It was a cluster. We had to try and call people and send people messages on FB to let them know about the change of Venue. We couldn’t let everyone know but we’re able to contact most. No one called us. Very disappointing. I’d never trust them with a group again.More

Wonderful place to eat!

Great customer service and Barbecue

We came down from Branson to stay at Mt Magazine and decided to go to Paris for some barbecue. This was a great experience, we were greeted by the owners and enjoyed the food and the southern hospitality. The large portions and pulled pork exceeded...our expectations. Worst BBq in the River Valley

I am a 3 generation pit master. iI have eatin BBQ all over the US and this place has to be the worst. Welli ts better than River Towne in Ozark. Took the family of four in, two kids and two adults. kids go the...Mach and cheese and the Green beans. Green beans was bland and tasted like they were fresh out of the can. Mac a Roni and cheese, the noodles were over cook and mushy, and very bland. the ribs appear to be spare ribs, they were moist, no had to seasoning on them very bland. Pulled port was dry and again you guessed it no seasoning. We looked allover the restaurant for a pepper shaker and could not find one. When we asked for it we were told there is only one, and the boss does not use pepper on his food. Well how ya gonna get the nice thick crust on a brisket with out pepper. Great BBQ and atmosphere

We were encouraged by friends to try this place after visiting our Aunt in Paris. The atmosphere is great! And the food is even better! I had the chicken and 2 sides. The chicken was smoked lightly and they have 3 different bbq sauces you...can choose from at your table. I also had the baked beans and potato salad. Both were wonderful! Great visit!

I had the pulled pork sandwich, smoked beans, and potato salad. All were excellent, particularly the potato salad. My husband enjoyed the sweet tea and bbq nachos. Reasonable prices!

Wonderful food!

We have eaten here several times and the food is always wonderful. The ribs are so tender they fall of the bone. The chicken is also amazing. Highly recommend!

Excellent ribs

My son and I came here. We had ribs and chicken. The ribs were good but they had some kick. My son thought they could rank as close to the best he has had. I thought they were good but there was a point that...it was so spicy that I had to stop eating. The beans were really good and the mac and cheese tasted like Styrofoam.More

Fantastic food

The prices were reasonable and the food was great. I had a brisket dinner (incl 1 side and drink for $12) and my husband had the leg quarter chicken dinner (incl one side $8). There were three sauces on the table to pick from. I...didn't try the hot sauce but the other two were very flavorful. It's not a fancy place but the food was great and we enjoyed our dinner. They Know BBQ!!!

Smokin Taters BBQ is so good!!!! They offer some of the best BBQ around, plus offering special dishes from time to time on their menu! For a couple of years they’ve offered their menu to go, out of their specially designed trailer and they sell...out almost every time!!! And now they’re preparing to open a sit-down restaurant and the people of Paris are so excited!!More

Amazing bbq food truck!

Yes. They are set up in a huge parking lot across from Sonic but there is a grocery store next door you can park at and just walk over.
