I have been visiting this pub for decades, sometimes for lunch while walking the dog in the forest and sometimes in the evening for a more formal dinner. On this occasion we had booke for dinner and had requested to be accomodated in the snug. This time we were given printed menus, which was a first for us, instead of... More

Tucked away in a tiny village in Litlington in East Sussex you'll find this amazing pub! With a grand array of local beers and a delicious lunch menu this little pub is perfect to simply let yourself unwind and watch the comings and goings! The staff are very friendly, their attitude to customer service is second to none. The lunch... More

We arrived on the off-chance, every table was reserved (it was Sunday). There was just one available, so we grabbed it, ordered our meals. Much to our surprise the food arrived very quickly and was very good. Visiting again next month and really looking forward to it.

The 4 of us were welcomed warmly when we first arrived. The menu board was extensive and varied which is a great plus. Shown to our table and given the menu but unfortunately 3 items were sold out which was not great seeing that we were one of the 1st seatings that Friday evening. Nonetheless we choose and what we... We visited with family for an evening meal. All the food was beautiful and the portions were plentiful. Service was wonderful. Cosy, warm, good music plus lovely food and drink. We will be returning to try a Sunday roast x

We went to this nice country pub for lunch. It is pleasant and cosy inside and has a beer garden for the better weather. It welcomes walkers. Food is average pub Fayre with average prices. It was not particularly busy when we went but the food took ages to arrive (45+ minutes). The female behind the bar was welcoming and... More

A country pub full of character in a lovely village. Despite it being a cold Saturday lunchtime thus pub was busy, so would recommend booking to avoid disappointment. The bar and serving staff were friendly and hats off to the chef for a very enjoyable lunch. Looking forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the pub garden and the... More

The pub is a traditional old country pub with loads of atmosphere Friendly team. The starters & main courses were beautifully cooked & well presented. By the time we had finished those, we were satisfied, but we took a little break & ate a sweet as well. All good.
