They have very limited American good on the menu but the cooking is not the best at all. However if you just want to get pina colada or ice cream then this place is the place to go

Stayed at the Oualie in January . We had some fantastic varied meals all good. Twice I had the lobster soooo good. Crab cakes are amazing. Fresh produce was obvious. Staff friendly and very attentive.

Definitely need to liven up the menu. The daily catch was always the same! Rice, mashed potatoe everyday. Not enough salads. Dinner and lunch menu not much variation. Breakfast was also boring, bacon always done to a crisp.

Lovely surroundings facing the beach, pleasant staff and a good menu although not extensive but what we had was very good.A pleasant atmosphere in the evenings, very informal with often live local music and not expensive.

We only had breakfast from Oualie. The menu is limited to only a handful of options, however, the view from the restaurant makes breakfast an experience in itself. Oualie has its own beach and a pier. The staff is very friendly and you can either...More

You are right that the Oualie breakfasts really are excellent. However do also come and try Chef Gary's lunch and dinner menus.

Absolutely correct. If you are enjoying a meal and drinks in paradise why would you want to rush things anyway?

If you want to just relax & watch the boats fishing / taxi or whatever... this is the ideal beach. The pina cola's are delicious too. Highly recommended for us 'beach bums'

As a fellow beach bum I could not agree with you more. Oualie is really the best beach on Nevis!

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. The perfect dining location right on the beach. Reservations are recommended in the high season. Unlike most restaurants, we insist on serving FRESH FISH. Lobster, Tuna, Wahoo and Mahi Mahi are brought right into our dock from the game fishing boats and kept on ice, never frozen. We believe in promoting "farm to the plate" and work closely with local farmers to ensure a FRESH supply of vegetables and salads. Our local tomatoes are ridiculously tasty!. We work with the Ministry of Agriculture on the supply of locally grown , grass fed, organic beef and have created the demand for a tender, tasty hybrid cross between the Zebu and Red Pole cattle breeds. Again this is always FRESH and never frozen. Our dinner menu changes daily to incorporate what local foods are available and always has at least one Gluten free and one Vegan dish.
