Six of us enjoyed a very good meal at this restaurant, coupled with good service and good wine. The restaurant was very busy and our conclusion was that it also received good local trade as well as visitors to the area.

Stopped off en route from Dublin to Galway. Met by wonderful waiting staff. The two Margarets are fabulous and gave the warmest welcome. Good traditional menu and food was delicious. The roast beef dinner nearly beat me! Highly recommended!!

A group of us stopped here while traveling from Dublin for a pre-arranged tea. We were served out of this world scones. Great place to stop in for a rest stop. It is an old castle and loved the atmosphere.

Great wings, lovely fish, smashing chicken. Sides were huge. Hard to finish but managed it. At the end of the day it's tasty food in an actual castle!! Newd I say more.

Solid, reasonable food, and lots of it. Lots of atmosphere. Wonderful service. Definitely a great place for a Sunday dinner (and probably just as good at other times).

Had the early bird menu, €25 each. Good value and lovely stir fry. Waiter was excellent and the setting is really nice. Fine place. Bit warm inside though.
