I recently went for a meal with a group of friends to The Tiger and found the food to be very nice and at a good price. The staff were very friendly and our needs and requests were efficiently handled. We would definitely be returning if we come back to the area and we recommend the pub to anyone who... More

Visited Thursday night. Found out of another's couple in there it was pie night so we decided to eat. They have 100 different pies to choose from and have to say the pies were spot on. Massive portions for only £6. It was just the staff who let it down in a big way. Walked in to two young girls... More

I booked a table after hearing amazing things about the Tiger & was told on the phone it was burns night but I could also order from the normal menu if I wanted to. We arrived at 7 and ordered drinks at the bar to which the lady said she would bring round while the young waitress took us to... More

I wrote a review on Facebook describing poor service and this was responded to within 5 minutes asking for an email with details. That was 22nd January and I've had no reply. We have eaten at The Tiger Inn as a large group on quite a few occasions, this time there were only 7 of us, not so many. This... More

Arrived at 12.30 and ordered a 8oz rump steak. Some 50 mins later it arrived, cooked rare as requested. The vegetables were great but the steak was the toughest the I,ve ever encountered;Timpsons could have used it for shoe repairs. Our waitress subsequently asked if everything was OK and I informed her of my problem steak. She promised to talk to the manager.20 mins later... Had a 12oz rump steak for £10 £2 extra for 5 pieces of Scampi and £1 for blue cheese sauce last Tuesday. Kids meal was good portion and my wife loved the beef pie. Lots of gravy in the pie. Good friendly staff who knew the food well. Full after 2 courses! Not the best selection of beer but we... More

We went to the pub on pie night as everybody I know says how amazing they are and the pub has a really good reputation. So I went in with really high expectations. This may sound silly but on arrival I needed the toilet and they didn't have if it was male or female on them I know that sounds... More

Where to start.... Belated Christmas meal we decided to try out The Tigers Infamous Steak Night. As well as a variety of steaks available (rumps, sirloin, fillet and 16oz Ribeye) we also had a large choice of other dishes, which was perfect as not all of our party wanted steak. I went for an 8oz Fillet steak which was cooked... More

Heard good reports about the Tiger inn so decided to give it a try and we weren't disappointed. We decided to chose Sunday lunch as the price very reasonable at £8.95 so pleased we did. I opted for lamb my hubby pork cooked to perfection with three different potatoes mash roast and new cauli cheese peas carrots green beans and... More
