Place had a change of ownership a few months ago. From a German, professionally trained chef, to a set of locals. This was an outstanding place where you could have a dinner plate that could run you $100 in NYC, for $7. I kid you not! Frank, the former chef, was also on assignment in NYC and other places during... More

Hi Matt...sorry you had a bad experience we took over recently and decided we would close and fix all the issues and make sure we had right staff and menu to move forward. What Frank did was great and he built an excellent business but unfortunately he had to return home. We hope you give us another chance with new... More

A short walk from the pulse of town but only adds to the quiet atmosphere. From breakfast and trough out the day a great place to stop. Dinner is excellent. Had the beef brisket, ( not always available ) and could smell it cooking from my apartment. It was to die for. I keep watching and waiting for it again... More

La Costera restaurant, run by Frank and his wife has been our favorite dinner restaurant in Sosua for years - unfortunately it appears that Frank has sold the place. It is now run by new owners and is not the same - the menu is the same but the food and service is not. Many of the menu items were... More

I ate here 2 times. I had breakfast once and it was decent. The dinner I had, a gyro, was substandard, small portions and poor quality.

La Costera is cosy restaurant. The food is very good. You get large portions at a reasonable price. One of the best in Sosua !

The food is really excellent, whether breakfast or dinner. The portions are very large. Everything fits, the ambience. The prices are all in the acceptable range. I can only say: Go that way.

We've been there so many times! It's a small cozy restaurant on the main street of Sosua. The food is mostly German style and absolutely delicious! Every main dish comes with my favorite garlic soup, love it! Service sometimes is pretty slow and not very attentive. But mostly it's a nice option to have a dinner in Sosua.

Pleasant place to eat with good food and a convivial atmosphere where people chat from table to table.
