The fish also know as Mahi Mahi was good, the potatoes were fantastic with a nice salad! Placed my order earlier in the day and it was ready on-time. The restaurant has nice beach views and always a breaze.

This appears to be a quiet little beach bar with beautiful beach access but the food is like fine dining. My German husband prides himself on his schnitzel and he had to admit that theirs was on par. We also had a kabob that was excellent. Several types of different meats including melt in your mouth filet. The salads that accompanied the meals were excellent.

The owner is a fraud. For 2x pancakes, 1x omelette, 2x coffee, 1x juice he asked for 50 USD. Poor hygiene standards. Strongly advise against it!

I was very disappointed after reviewing this bar on line prior to my travel. For 2 days I saw almost no patrons there evening during the evening hours. Very bad advertising and misleading. Staff seemed stuffy and unfriendly. maybe the reasons for no guest. May have been the spot in the past but now, no.

take away the fact that you can eat directly on the beach and there is nothing special about the place. What looks it should be " cheap eats " gets rather pricey after a few beers,which were charged more than the listed menu price. Perhaps because we spoke no Spanish?? Who knows, but I would avoid this place altogether.

You are one of many peoples who are ripped off at the beach without our knowledge. The beach vendors are NOT adjusted by us. We have our menu and the is not overpriced and incl. Tax and service. We are sorry but this is not a single case and NOT OUR FAULT.In the restaurante inside can not happen !!!

A great beachside venue, with good food, a variety of local and international music and very frosty cervesas! The business is family owned and operated by the owner Karl who is friendly and engaging and who often prepares non-traditional meals on the weekend! A good choice!

I am not a drinker but I did eat the food there and the cook prepared the octopus my son caught. This is the beautiful view from the bar. I was thankful she cooked it for us.

Nice bar on the beach, free Wifi, cable-televion, BBQ, billiard, in the centre from OLD Juan Dolio, curry-wurst, chili con carne picante, very cheap, different kinds of beers, nice attraktive employers, Sometimes KARAOKE.

Juan Dolio is a place a refer to as the retirement community. Many Northern Americans venture down to this section of the island to enjoy peace and quiet. However, at night this is the place where many come to enjoy a drink, a little food if hungry and some company upon request. I can't say enough about how the Bartenders accommodated me during my patronage. I recommend this place to all those that come and visit the community of Juan Dolio.
