I have been enjoying the pasta, pizza and fish at El Sueno for over 10 years now. One of the best Italian mom and pop restaurants in Juan Dolio. No frills, simple and good.

OK overpriced food. Live music unbearable, became an amateur show of poor taste. Very slow service. Tried to overcharge us on the lobster.

Had dinner there a few nights on a recent visit. One night there was karaoke and the DJ was a great singer. Even if no guests were willing to sing, he manged to pull off a selection that had the locals singing along at the table. First meal I had was fried fish, Boca Chica style. Delightfully hot and crispy on the outside, moist and flavorable inside. The second night I had grilled shrimp. Also tasty, with a slight hint of limon.

I have been to this restaurant many times in the last 5 years I have never been disappointed with the service or the food it has beautiful atmosphere with Friendly's service I am from New York and visit many restaurants. The chicken valdostana was probably the best I have ever eaten in New York or New Jersey. I would highly recommend this restaurant it is not pricey either

I always staying in guavaberry golf course at a very luxury Penthouse apartment at night I would have a driver take me to El sueno restaurant which was as good as you can get people in there very hospitable the service is fantastic the food was great I ate that three nights and through lunches their pizza is good and the chicken valdostana was excellent the seafood is very good and the cold octopus salad cannot be beat I can't wait to go back maybe in July my waitress Celia it's fantastic can't say enough about this restaurant and the prices are very reasonable

food below average, pizza dominican style with canned ingredients and pasta over cooked and not authentic even th the owner is Italian which in this case it does not mean anything and way overpriced for the quality [or the lack off] of the food

We went for dinner here with our crew members. This restaurant was phenomenal. It’s an Italian restaurant with an Italian owner so it’s all authentic! Everything on the table looked great.
The bruschetta to start was delicious.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Kareoke after dinner was a fun touch !!

This was our one "nice" dinners and we were not disappointed. It was super busy and it took a while to get our food. Our server recognized that and gave us a complimentary glass of wine. I would definitely recommend the grilled seafood /pasta dishes.

Nice restaurant with great pizza. We had the 4 seasons thin crust pizza and it was very tasty. They had live entertainment - a duo on Spanish guitars roaming the place.

Five of us had dinner here last night. Really great buzzy vibe with fab food, music and a fantastic waiter in Ricardo. The others had been before but it was the first time for my husband and I. Will definately be back! Highly recommend you try it.
